That may be significant but probably not and there is no sign that Massie will contest the election. If anything he seems almost relieved it’s over. What his future holds is yet to be determined, he might become an even more effective voice out of Congress in the same way Tucker Carlson has dramatically expanded his reach once freed of the Fox News shackles. It would be a hoot if he ran as the Libertarian Party candidate in 2028, he would draw more votes than any other LP candidate and torpedo Peter Thiel’s puppet J.D. Vance.
I lived in what is now Thomas Massie’s district for about 4 years back in the early 2000s when it was represented by Ken Lucas, a Democrat which is odd because it is a heavily Republican district although Lucas was one of the last sort of conservative Democrats.
Anyway, it is a nice area although way overgrown now as Kentucky used to be a cheaper alternative for people working in Cincinnati. The first place we lived was a quiet little service road with a few houses and a couple of businesses, now the whole area is jammed with retail stores and medical offices. It is completely unrecognizable and indistinguishable from every other suburban sprawl in America. Progress!
It is also chock full of standard evangelical churches, especially lots of Baptist churches as this is Kentucky after all and that means lots of dispensational teaching. That is the main explanation for Massie’s loss. It wasn’t about his votes on the “Big Beautiful Bill” or anything like that. It was all about Israel.

Of the 57,822 people that voted for him, I doubt even 1,000 could give you a reason for voting for Gallrein other than “Trump said to” if you stopped them on the street and asked them why they voted for him. It was a vote against Thomas Massie, not for Ed Gallrein. Gallrein couldn’t even win a state Senate seat in Kentucky but he was a perfect patsy for AIPAC because he is incapable of independent thought and seems like an especially crazed Zionist.
You don’t have to like or respect Thomas Massie to be outraged at a foreign country spending $30 million to remove him from office because he won’t kiss the wall. It wasn’t like he was unpopular, he won in 2024 running unopposed and in 2022 he won with 65% of the vote. That wasn’t good enough because the Israeli lobby didn’t like him.
Remember Jamal Bowman? Jamal was a 2G congressman, a member of the far left “Squad” along with AOC, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. He was a piece of shit famous for pulling a fire alarm to cause the Cannon Office Building to be evacuated, delaying a vote, an act for which he pled guilty to a misdemeanor.
His real crime? Not sucking up to Israel and for that crime he was primaried in 2024 after winning re-election to the New York District 16 House seat in 2022 with 64% of the vote. AIPAC spent $15 million to unseat a popular Democrat in the primary, making it the most expensive House primary election in U.S. history, a record that only lasted one election cycle as AIPAC and company spent double that amount to replace Massie.
Or how about Cori Bush, another 2G member of the squad? She was also run out of office in 2024, losing to a different 2G named Wesley Jonell-Cleavon Bell. AIPAC spent $9 million to get rid of her.
I find both Jamal Bowman and Cori Bush to be as repulsive as a maggot infested racoon road kill in July but I am far more deeply repulsed by the Israeli lobby spending millions of dollars to replace them with candidates that will grovel for Israel while the Israeli lobbyist are exempt from the same rules by which foreign lobbyists from every other country are constrained.
Fewer people remember Steve King, a former Republican Congressman from Iowa. King was run out of office, again by the Republican party, for being very mildly pro-White, but he also faced accusations of being “antisemitic” and was replaced by a pliable lapdog named Randy Feenstra who, to the surprise of no one, faithfully votes for whatever Israel wants. King went on to endorse Vivek Ramaswamy which is very disappointing but he serves as a reminder to Republicans: don’t cross Israel and don’t speak up for White people even in a Congressional district that is 82% White.

I would guess that even for the most diehard detractors of Trump that nevertheless voted for him as a statement, his implosion has been something of a shock. I am not a libertardian and don’t agree with Massie on everything – but he was one of the only members of Congress who wasn’t owned by the jews. He had his own money (from technological and animal husbandry patents) and lives on rural family land in a setup many preppers could only dream of. He was a rare, genuinely independent thinker and heritage-American patriot. Whether it was due to jewish money and/or evangelical churches, his loss is one more indication (as if any were needed) that electoral democracy and mass suffrage equals idiocracy.
