The DEIan in question is one Percival Matthews. I thought perhaps at first that he was referring to black problems with the concept of per capita but that wasn’t it. No he was objecting to a completely bizarre and made-up “problem”….
In a paper co-authored with Pooja Sidney, an associate professor at the University of Kentucky, Matthews claimed that systemic inequities in education leave Black [sic] students “shut out” of advanced courses, particularly in mathematics.
“This exclusionary narrative continues into the higher grades, with Black [sic] children routinely being shut out of advanced mathematics courses despite meeting achievement standards,” the paper states. “In stark contrast, more privileged White children are sometimes tracked into advanced courses despite failing to meet those standards.”
The paper goes on to ask, “How can a Black [sic] scholar work to improve a system through rigorous empirical research when that system is arguably inherently violent toward Black [sic] children, even the ones who excel at all the tests?”

Without reading the article by the dynamic DEI duo, I will nevertheless go on record and say that there aren’t any real examples of a black student being passed over for advanced math classes in favor of White students who are less qualified. Apparently to the good DEIan, it is not OK when imaginary blacks are passed over by imaginary less qualified Whites but I suspect he doesn’t have a problem with actual Whites being passed over in favor of actual less qualified blacks in college and university admissions.
In his fantasy world, blacks not achieving in mathematics is quite literally “violence”. In the real, non-Wakanda, world the reason blacks don’t excel in mathematics is that they just aren’t very smart and in this real world blacks that are marginally intelligent are often bullied by other blacks for “acting White”.
While I don’t know how accurate the assertion that sub-Saharan Africans had as their numerical system “One, two, many” when Whites encountered them, it doesn’t seem far-fetched at all. Math requires some basic cognitive skills and higher math? That is something accessible only to people with the sort of mind that can think creatively as well as logically. This explains why there has never been a black winner of the Fields Medal (and only 2 out of 64 winners were women).
More concerning to me is that this is another example of blacks justifying violence against Whites because of their own failures. If black kids don’t succeed in math, that is violence. If blacks don’t get admitted to medical school? Violence. If blacks are make less money than Whites? You guessed it, more violence.
As my readers know all too well, blacks don’t really need a good excuse or any excuse at all to chimp out. The ironic twist is that this paper isn’t intended for a black audience, it is intended for a White audience. black “academics” like DEIan Matthews create a framework to give liberal Whites excuses for black misbehavior, like an overindulgent parent that excuses their kid’s bad behavior. Combined with their genetics and what you end up with is a system that will go out of it’s way to not punish black behavior, as we saw in the case of Deshawn Stafford Jr., the black yoof that stomped White teen Ethan Liming to death and only received a sentence of 18 months and then promptly went out and killed a different young White guy (See: No One Could Have Seen This Coming).
When we say “around blacks, never relax”, this is part of what drives that saying. The average black, not just the “academic” blacks like DEIan Matthews, truly believe that White people deserve violence because anything and everything that is bad in black lives is the fault of Whites and even minor disappointments are literal violence, thereby justifying black violence toward Whites. When a black like Deshawn Stafford shoots a White even accidentally it is OK because they see violence against innocent Whites as a form of self-defense.
So sure, it is easy to point at and laugh at pseudo-intellectual clowns like Percival Matthews but behind the laughter is a very real threat. Irrational, violent people given a green light to act on their basest impulses is not good for anyone.

I can testify to the claim of blacks trying act “White” if try to learn in school. There was a black girl in my school I worked at who when she was in the 6th grade, she want to do well in her studies. Of course with time she was accused of trying to act White.
