Predictions

Well it is “election” day here in America and the bi-annual farce of national elections is happening. The pundits and talking heads will breathlessly cover results tonight with most barely even trying to hide their cheerleading for one side or the other.

Everyone is required to make predictions about the “elections”, even those who recognize the whole thing as a fake and gay pressure valve, and as a one time Political Science major I am not immune.

My prediction is that the Grand Old Party gets reamed good and proper today, losing control of both the House and the Senate. I think they lose more Senate seats than expected, although I suspect Ken Paxton holds off that little faggot Talarico in Texas but just barely. I noticed Brandon Herrera was campaigning with Paxton the other day, not for Paxton to help Brandon as his race is well in hand, but for Herrera to help Paxton. Other significant races go against them, notably Ramaswamy who I predict loses to Amy Acton and drags down the rest of the Republican ticket across the state of Ohio.

The irritating thing is that this could have been easily avoid. It has been a perfect storm of fuck-upery. Just as the whole world turned on Israel for their genocidal destruction of Gaza, the Bad Orange Man decided to go all in with fellating Bibi Netanyahu and friends.

The most obvious issue is the ongoing quagmire in Iran.

No not that quagmire.

Make no mistake, the Iran War is on the ballot today all across the country and it doesn’t take much political savvy to understand why.

In January of this year gas was dropping and down to $2.73 per gallon. Then we decided to have ourselves a quick little war, kicked off by assassination strikes while we were “negotiating” with Iran. The Iranian people didn’t rise up in revolt, Iran didn’t roll over for the mighty American military and instead very rudely fought back. Israel was pounded which we all saw despite the censorship and Israel, our bestest buddy and Greatest Ally, decided bombing unarmed women and children was more their speed and left Iran to us.

The rest we know. Oil became scarce, gas and diesel prices spiked and stayed there, our vaunted network of military bases in the Middle East were methodically smashed and abandoned thanks I believe to targeting data supplied by Russia as payback for our propping up Ukraine.

For me the most egregious and unforgivable moment came when Israeli foreign money was used to drive Thomas Massie out of office, a guy who ran unopposed in his last general election, all because he pushed back against the Iran war on behalf of Israel. In less than two years he went from a wildly popular, unassailable safe seat to being replaced by some empty suit Zionist puppet. It reminded me of Steve King and that the Republican party will turn on their own mildly maverick members with a viciousness they never seem to muster for Democrats.

Anyway, nothing new there but all of the complaining about Trump stepping on a rake over and over is likely going to come to fruition tonight. Trump is already talking about how he will “govern” with a Democrat controlled Congress.

What comes next if I am correct?

With a looming Democrat Congress, the window for military action against Iran without Congressional pushback might be closing and there are lots of ominous signs that ground forces might be in play once we get past “Election Day”. What is even more troubling are signals that Trump might employ a “small” nuclear strike on Pickax Mountain as nothing else has worked. Ron Unz has been writing about this, most recently here: A Delusional President with “Insane” Military Plans?

Trump has been telegraphing a potential attack after the midterms for months and warning your enemy that an attack is coming is usually a bad idea. If the Iranians are smart they were also prepared for some of early sneak attack on Monday and certainly are locked and loaded to respond right now, just waiting for the dust to settle tonight.

It might be a good idea to fill your gas tanks today.
