Do They Know What Pearl Harbor Led To?

The regime media, which is to say all “mainstream” media, is crowing about the attack on Russian airfields by drones launched from trucks within Russia. It was a pretty masterful stroke although the damage claimed by Ukrainian shills appears to be wildly overstated. That is pretty standard for the entire war.

Some strategic bombers were destroyed, others damaged. Russia is embarrassed but also angry. What else did it really accomplish?

First off, it was an attack that demands a response. A very significant response. Ukraine will cry when it happens and her apologists in the West will claim that it was unprovoked, just as the whole war was unprovoked. Ron Unz had something to say about that in a recent post: The True History of World War II

As part of this process, nearly all of our mainstream media organs began loudly promoting an extremely distorted and dishonest narrative of how the conflict began. The Russian attack on Ukraine was so universally described as an “unprovoked invasion” that this two-word phrase almost seemed triggered by a single keystroke press.

But as most of us know, the actual facts were entirely different. Instead the military conflict that began in early 2022 was arguably one of the most “provoked” major wars in modern history, with the military and political provocations of the West and its Ukrainian client state having gone on for at least eight years, finally reaching a fever-pitch just before the Russians attacked.

I don’t expect it will be a minor response either, but something quite serious. Despite the histrionics from doorknobs with Ukrainian flags in their profile pictures, Russia has been pretty careful about avoiding mass civilians casualties unlike what the “Good Guys” did in World War II. That might not be the case in the response to this attack.

Second, it doesn’t change the situation on the battlefield in the slightest. Russia continues to grind away territory and the war is being fought on the ground with troops and artillery and in the skies with drones. Many people are comparing this strike to Pearl Harbor including the New York Post:

In a way they are sort of right. Recall that Pearl Harbor, which FDR totally didn’t know was coming, destroyed most American battleships while the aircraft carriers were conveniently not there. As the war in the Pacific raged, it is clear that even had the battleship fleet been untouched they would have been used for little more than bombarding shore targets and not in ship to ship combat. In most of the major engagements in the Pacific like Coral Sea and Midway, the opposing naval vessels never were in sight of one another. Battleships would have been sitting ducks.

Recall also that Pearl Harbor led directly to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Maybe not the best example.

Anyway, while it was an expensive attack to be sure and a big morale booster, it doesn’t change the reality on the ground. I am not a military strategist but if your country is occupied and slowly being overrun, you are losing the war. The timing of this strike seems to me to be a poison pill for peace negotiations and that would be odd unless you understand that Zelensky has no interest in peace, his one and only gambit is drawing the West into direct combat. No amount of “aid” will suffice for Ukraine to take back Crimea and other territory lost to Russia so refusing to negotiate with that reality in mind shows that there isn’t a path toward peace apart from a) the West directly involved or b) Russia conquering all of Ukraine which would likely mean ethnic Ukrainians going extinct in their own country.

It is also worth noting that this was a direct attack on Russia’s nuclear triad, an insane provocation but one that is cheered on by the West. Once more from the New York Post: Ukraine’s surprise strike deep in Russia — an excellent way to push Putin to talk peace

Adding to Kyiv’s panache points here, the damaged planes — $7 billion worth, the Ukrainians estimate even as the Russians of course claim the whole thing failed — included many of the strategic bombers central to Moscow’s ultimate “doomsday” deterrent.

That is: Putin and his spokes-toads have spent the last three years pointedly hinting they’d go nuclear if the West helps Ukraine “too much”; it’s pure poetic justice if his refusal to make peace has now left Russia vulnerable to a nuclear first strike.

Has now left Russia vulnerable to a nuclear first strike. Set aside that isn’t true, Russia’s triad is like ours, with land based ICBMs, sub launched missiles and bombers, so losing a few bombers doesn’t significantly change that but what kind of loon doesn’t see that making Russia more vulnerable to a first strike makes them more likely to launch a first strike? The whole editorial is insane, this attack doesn’t push Putin to make peace, it does the exact opposite.

Finally, the planning according to Li’l Zelensky took a year and a half. A year and a half to shoot their wad right before peace negotiations. As with most of what Zelensky orders, this was a show for his Western backers just like the ill-fated invasion of Kursk where thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were killed, maimed or captured in a suicide mission. Russia didn’t react in a panic to a strategically insignificant crossing of the border, they instead slowly ground the Ukrainians into the dirt and Ukraine has nothing to show for it but more graves.

If Ukraine was focusing more on the actual battlefield instead of acts of sabotage and performances for the Western media, it might help. Not a lot but maybe a little. Instead the little tinpot dictator expends Ukrainian lives to put on a show for his paymasters.

Time will tell what Russia’s response will be but it will certainly be more than proportionate. The best thing the U.S. can do to bring about peace is to cut Ukraine off entirely and force them to negotiate for peace in a realistic setting while they still have a country left.

If Russia’s next move is measured and proportional, then surely Icky Vicky Nuland (every single time) and the Kagans (every single time as well) will be included in The Bear’s response.

That would do The World a world of good.

Unfortunate plane crashes and lethal exposure to radioactive elements do seem to happen fairly often to those who cross Putin. Much more humane than slaughtering more Ukrainians whose only crime is being more patriotic than smart.

    • DWEEZIL THE WEASEL

Nuland, the Vindmans, and the Kagans were not on the Biden pardon list. They should all be in orange jump suits or at least warming a chair in front of a Federal Grand Jury. Paging Pam Bondi! Paging Pam Bondi! Please pick up the white courtesy phone!

No kidding, brother. For years we said of leftists “they are either stupid or evil” and we finally figured out they are all evil. Now we ask of the Trump admin “are they stupid, or are they in on it?” Things that make one go “what in the actual F?”

This was an insane and stupid attack. They lost or had damaged a handful of planes. They planned this for a year?

This is nothing to crow about. The Russians know damn well that NATO helped plan this. Eventually, Russia will tire of this and get down to business.

These ‘talks’ are retarded. They’ve yet to acknowledge that Russia has some serious beefs that aren’t being addressed, and they’ve seen this movie, where there’s a cease fire so the loser can arm up, before. They have no reason whatsoever to move from their plans.

Especially when the plan seems to be an international team (NATO, cough cough) administers a DMZ while they pillage raw materials, which happen to be in Russian held territories. Why on earth would Russia agree to any of this?

These fools are going to keep it up until Russia launches hypersonic missiles on NATO bases. Don’t be surprised if a hotel ‘where foreigners stay” gets wiped from the map, followed by ‘training accidents’ and heart attacks are reported to cover the US forces, that shouldn’t be there, are used to cover what actually happened.

Trump want’s the killing to stop, don’t send weapons or money any longer, pull our dudes out, and say we’re done. The midget isn’t serious about peace. Fugg’im.

Year and a half with NATO assistance in planning and execution (satellite targeting). Putin may not be able or want to hold back the warhawks this time.

That seems to be what the (((west))) Wants- to force Russia into a ‘Response’ that can be used as a Pretext for War. It is significant, IMO, that the (((media))) is using the Term “Pearl Harbor”, because that attack was not only Fomented by the (((west))) but the Traitors like (((roosevelt))) Knew when the Attack was going to happen, and Refused to allow the Pacific Fleet to be put on Combat Alert. Many ‘Wargamers’ have shown that with the Available Forces of PacFleet at the Time, had they been Ready for it, it is highly unlikely that it would have been at all Effective, and that chances of the IJN Carrier Group not making it Home would have been quite High- meaning that Admiral Yamamoto would have had to Gut Himself with his own Sword, in front of the God-Emperor of Japan.

Unfortunately, in this case, (((they))) are Fomenting a War that their Golem cannot Win.

One wonders if “Russia” will detonate a nuke in some western city. After all, there are reputed to be numbers of former USSR weapons unaccounted for.

It’s not beyond imagination that Someone (add parentheses to taste) would ensure a “Russian” attack using stolen nuclear material delivered by truck (or more likely pre-positioned) than by missile. Those vampires really really want their war.

        • Zorost

My bet is the strike would be against a NATO base. Putin has to be hearing footsteps about now. Not Ukrainian, but his own generals. Nuclear deterrence elements getting hit crosses a line, no matter how insignificant.

        • Gryphon

Mike- in spite of the ‘optics’ of a minor attack on some “Strategic Assets” this will NOT rise to the level where Russia would use Nuclear Weapons in response. They simply Don’t Need To – That’s what systems like “Oreshnik” and a few others are for – non-Nuclear Strategic Weapons that are Unstoppable by ‘western’ defenses, and Precise enough that a NATOstan Airfield could be Destroyed without even damaging the Perimeter Fence.

IF THERE IS ANY NUCLEAR ATTACK, ANYWHERE, IT WILL BE A FALSE-FLAG BY THE FUSSA. Or the (((banksters))) from their Base in Occupied Palestine….

          • Mike_C

Agreed. That’s why I put “Russia” in quotation marks.

And yes, false flag by The Best People. (TBP? So in the old days people would say “The Fair Folk” because to say the name of the malignant Fae would draw their negative attention. The Best People is my “updated for modern audiences” version of that. It’s an alternative to the parentheses thing.)

As previously recommended, vaporize Washington D. C., London, Bonn, and Paris. Problem solved, plus the native citizens of those countries would be freed from their totalitarian Regimes. Win Win. JUST KILL THEM ALL.

    • Alex Lund

Bonn is no longer the capital of Germany. Berlin is.
And yes, I think an Oreshnik into the building where our chancellor resides would be a good thing. Because this building is an eyesore.
Compare this to the Palais Schaumburg in Bonn.
And frankly speaking, those who were chancellors in Bonn had lived through World War II, so they avoided war with all their willpower.
And intellectually speaking they were giants compared to those today.

    It leads to Midway?
The airfields are a legitimate military target, the train and bridge not so much.
Vlad is a Tom Hagen? Unsuitable for wartime.
The former West hates Russia and has partition plans as shown in the North Eurasia map from 2023.
Da Nang Dick Blumenthal and pink palmetto princess Lindsay Grahamnesty knew of the attack but kept it from Zion Don?
At a time when we need a Bismarck or von Clausewitz as leaders we have clowns.

    • Mike_C

Both were great men, but I’m not sure von Bismarck nor von Clausewitz are the German leader we most need today.

O/T just boarded a plane and the people in the row behind me REEK of curry. I think I’m going to have to wash my jacket when I get home, which is a PITA. Maybe running it through the dryer on “high air” for an hour will do. And of course a shower to get the reek out of my hair. Geez. My eyes are watering.

Putin needs to set a bounty on Z, bring him back alive and then publicly on live television, around the globe for everyone to see, execute him in a very painful excrutiating way.

Oh shit, I just woke up from a dream.

“That seems to be what the (((west))) Wants- to force Russia into a ‘Response’ that can be used as a Pretext for War.”

The West should be careful what it wishes for. If a shooting WWIII starts, China is gonna take Russia’s side. Fake and Gay AINO will wake up with its supplies of pharmaceuticals, rare earth, and the plethora of other stuff we are dependent on China for gone. AINO doesn’t have allies, it has vassals. The Mohammeds and Pajeets that have conquered Britian and Germany are not gonna fights for their hosts.

Fake and Gay AINO is in no condition to fight a big war. It is undermanned. We have too many overweight, women, and tranny freaks they have yet to kick out. Look at the US Navy. Its ships all look like rusted hulks because the trillion $$ MIC cannot afford basic maintence. Who is AINO gonna get to fight. The pool of recruits is small because of things like obesity, drug use, criminal records, and general weakness. AINO has no wartime industry to speak of.

Russia, on the other hand, has an industrial base that is up and running. It has 3 years of combat experience in the latest iteration of war. It is laughable that they send Ukrainian soldiers to France or Britain for training. What the fuck does France, Britain, or AINO know about drone warfare?

    • Big Ruckus D

Absolutely concur with all of the above. I’ve tried conveying some of those points in conversations with others, but the delusions that “we’re America dammit, and we invincible” run too deep and simply cannot be broken for too many. It is clear too that that many in the institutional government and military have this unbreakable delusion, and are intent on starting shit because they actually believe “we’ve got this”. Naturally, once they open Pandora’s box, they’ll find out otherwise, but we will all be a in a world of shit for it.

  8. Dirk Williams

Naturally NATO benefited greatly from this attack. No way Ukraine pulled this off without NATO CIA and or DIA involvement.

“IF” Trump was not informed, “which is suspect”, heads need to roll, any American involved needs to be sent packing!

I continue to be amazed or is it amused at the technical differences between our Fun in the Sun in the ME, regarding tactics VS this totally new war fighting .

Appears suspect that WE our Allies didn’t fight this same Drone war in The Box. 1000s of American and partners lives could have been saved.

Does anybody here actually believe that these Ra-Tards in Ukraine developed and Executed “ The Art of the Drone.

Is it not clear that the EU needs WWIII

    Dirk

Big Ruckus D made a comment at NC Renegade at https://ncrenegade.com/deep-state-1-trump-0/#comments that is so important that I am taking the liberty of copying it. What should Trump do?

    “1) Declare martial law.
    2) use backdoors likely located within to shut down communications satellites and various Internet routing points to cripple the media as much as possible to minimize their ability for incitement. Expect work arounds will be found in short order, leaving a limited window to make an effective first strike.
    3) shutdown CIA and FBI, begin roundups and summary executions of known bad actors (members of Congress, Intel agency heads and staff, well connected and funded subversives, etc.), see what unknown bad actors are drawn out into the daylight and then lather, rinse, repeat.

Will the above work to wrest control from the deep state? I’ve no idea, and have serious doubts. But what else has any chance of doing the job? At this stage, the two options are to capitulate and let the bad guys finish sewing up control of everything, or come out swinging with a maximum shock value move and hope the bad guys can be knocked back on their asses long enough to gain the upper hand. Assuming that can even be done, it then requires the testicular fortitude for follow through to do very unsavory things regarding the disposition of domestic enemies, and a whole lot of them, at that.

I don’t believe Trump has the stones for this. It would take a legit strong man, and none who fit the criteria have yet emerged, so far as I know. Also make note of the fact we don’t really know if Trump is even a good guy, or is compromised and just posing as one. The whole thing turns (or not) on the answer to that question of what exactly Trump is, and whether his stated objectives during the last campaign were truthful. There is a very slim chance his ego — and desire to cement a legacy — could drive him to try, but I’m not banking on it.

If the scenario above were to be activated and played out, civil war is assured (which it is eventually, regardless), as all those who benefit directly and otherwise from both the existence of, and the vast policy meddling of the deep state, will lash out upon the realization their meal ticket and the power that enabled their very existence is being dismantled. Consider the outrage over DOGE, and multiply it exponentially.

For those who would protest that the above would mark the end of America, you’re late to drawing that conclusion. The end was an accomplished fact quite some ways back. This stage of the game is not to save, or to restore some romanticized notion of one’s fabled homeland (that no longer exists) but to purge the cancer, and hopefully create conditions under which a functional society can once again take root. That is a real long shot, but the alternatives stemming from not trying are far worse still. There are no good options, and success is not assured. However, failing to take this poor option is a guaranteed loss. Either way, I don’t really expect to come out the other side. If I somehow do, it’ll be down to the grace of God, and incredible good fortune.”

I think BRD is right. It is CWII now, CWII later, or WWIII. I rather go with CWII. In that scenario, there is a chance I might be able to do something.

This was a unsanctioned strategic attack on Russian assets, costing over 6 billion, Trump was not notified. The “Pukes” exploited a treaty that forced those planes to be on the tarmac and vulnerable, although some of those planes could be inoperable static displays. Since the “Pukes” put the assassination of state heads on the field as fair play either Putin needs to hit em, especially since they tried to whack him, or we should “sanction” “Ziolinsky”, his actions are putting US national security and all US citizens at risk, although Jeuland sucked us into this proxy war by undermining Uke democracy and installing Ziolinsky and negating the original agreements of a 25 year lease Putin wanted, Ziolinksy was going to agree to in 2014. Trump needs to stop all money, weapons and intel to the Pukes now, or this is on his head regardless who and how it started. “McStain”, “Jeuland” “Graham-cracker”, Blumenthal, etc…all should be trialed and given the death penalty for being a traitors. McStains legacy needs to be ruined permanently and we need to pull out of NATO, its not our problem, its Europes. NATO broke the agreements with Russia and kept encroaching. The Donbas Donetsk and Crimea were Russian, they voted en masse to leave the Uke.
