Docs: Mom tosses boiling water at cheating husband, hits young son
A Plainfield mom was charged after she allegedly tossed boiling water at her cheating husband, but missed and struck her young son with the scorching hot water.
Catherine Philippe and Junior Borelus were charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 5 Felony. Philippe was also charged with battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 5 Felony.

According to court documents, Philippe told authorities that she was in a domestic dispute with her husband. During the dispute, she reportedly attempted to throw a pot of boiling water on him but missed and hit her son.
Philippe told authorities that she didn’t see any injuries and did not take him to the hospital. After several days, his injuries had gotten worse, and she took him to the hospital.
During an interview with two older children, they told authorities that Philippe and Borelus were arguing over ice cream and a mistress that Borelus had. They also corroborated her statement that she attempted to throw a boiling pot of water on Borelus but missed and hit the boy.
The children did, however, say they immediately noticed the boys’ injuries, but that Philippe didn’t want to take the boy to the hospital because “she didn’t have much money” and was scared of being accused of having caused the injuries.
If you have ever had a child with a serious burn, it is pretty obvious because the kid will be in agony. According to the report the li’l 2G had “…severe burns on his back and left shoulder that continued down his left arm”. No way a badly burned 4 year old kid isn’t letting you know how much pain he is in. The other kids ratted her out which is really funny.
She should just claim she was depressed and that should get her plenty of TikTok sympathy. Come on, her man was cheating on her and even worse they were arguing about ice cream. We know how blacks are when it comes to food aggression.
All together now, the only thing worse for a black kid than growing up without a father in the home is growing up with a father in the home.
