This Is A black Movement I Wholeheartedly Support

One of the many examples of “cognitive” dissonance among blacks, at least to the extent that blacks are capable of what we would consider cognitive functioning while mostly missing their prefrontal cortex, is that they simultaneously claim that White people are not just “holding them back” but are an existential threat to blacks while at the same time absolutely refusing to separate themselves from us and in fact bitching and moaning loudly whenever Whites try to get away from them. It’s part of the old “move out, it’s White flight, move back in and try to make it less shitty, it’s gentrification” shtick.

It’s a source of frustration for normiecons that so desperately want to figure out what they can do to make blacks STFU and quit bitching non-stop.

Me? I obviously don’t care about blacks and their endless crying because they suck at life. For me they are a source of endless amusement mixed with endless rage. We can’t do what needs to be done with them, at least not yet, so for now I just mock them and avoid them.

Anyway, because it is a day ending in Y the 2Gs are all up in arms about being oppressed and sheeiiit by White folks. The reason this time is the recent Supreme Court ruling (Louisiana v Callais) that declared that the practice of requiring states to create racially gerrymandered districts in order to promote specific racial voting blocs was a misinterpretation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (VRA).

The VRA was enacted over 60 years ago and like most “civil rights” acts of that era it was allegedly passed to address specific issues of discrimination and like all of them it has long since been shown to have not only failed to improve the lot of blacks but made it worse. One result of the VRA was that states were forced to create majority black Congressional districts no matter how goofy the map looked.

That is no longer the law of the land. As a result a lot of states are looking to draw new maps that will in most cases eliminate Democrat seats in the House. This is causing all sorts of upset and teeth gnashing.

In Tennessee as of today the Volunteer state has 9 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. Of those, 8 are filled by Republicans. Seven are White guys and one is a White chick. Only one has a Democrat so the current map looks like this:

The bottom left corner in blue is the Tennessee 9th Congressional district, home to Memphis, Murderville-on-the-Mississippi. Memphis is over 60% black, almost 10% mestizo and less than 1/4 White so of course the lone Democrat member of Congress from Tennessee in a district that is 60+% black is….

If ever a picture screamed “Hey Feds, check this guy’s hard-drive” it is that one. Cohen is unmarried and definitely not gay. He allegedly had a “secret daughter” which was supposed to convince us he was really a straight guy, only to have his “secret daughter” turn out to not be biologically related to him at all. Nice try Tinkerbell. Anyway, this has prompted some in Memphis to call for Memphis to “secede” from Tennessee. Yes, really.

Lawmaker calls for Memphis to secede from Tennessee following redistricting

Tennessee State Representative Antonio Parkinson (D-Memphis) is calling on Memphis to secede from the state of Tennessee following a redistricted map that will likely ensure no Democratic representation in the state….

….“This is no longer simply about maps,” said Rep. Parkinson. “This is about whether Memphis — a majority-Black economic engine for this state — is expected to continue contributing billions in tax revenue, culture, labor, and commerce while being systematically stripped of political power,” Parkinson said….

….“If this legislature no longer believes the people of Memphis deserve the ability to choose a representative who reflects their community, then at least have the courage to say it plainly,” Parkinson said. “Do not hide behind maps and procedure. Let Memphis secede from the State of Tennessee. And I’m dead serious. Let my people go.”

I guess he fancies himself a negro Moses or something…

Where exactly would Memphis go? Mississippi or Arkansas? Those are also red states. Maybe he thinks Memphis will become an independent city-state? Here is the clown in question…

Notice someone trademarked the phrase “black Votes Matter” because nothing says “fighting for civil rights” quite like cashing in on merch.

This is one of those rare times that I am in complete agreement with a sub. I support Memphis becoming an independent city. The same with Detroit, I would gladly support higher taxes to pay to reroute the Detroit River so Detroit can join with Windsor, Ontario and become part of Canada. Or creating an corridor from L.A. to San Francisco and turning that into a separate nation, heck stretch it out and include Portland and Seattle. I have lots of ideas about this.

Of course this is all bluster. While Antonio Parkinson claims Memphis is a “a majority-Black [sic] economic engine for this state”, it isn’t blacks in the city that generate economic activity. Memphis does contribute something important to Tennessee as Grok explains when I asked “what percentage of all homicides in the state of Tennessee occur in Memphis?”

Around 40-45% in recent years (e.g., ~43% in 2024), though this varies by year and exact definitions (murders vs. broader homicides).

Memphis (in Shelby County) accounts for a highly disproportionate share of Tennessee’s homicides relative to its population (~9-10% of the state’s total), due to its persistently elevated per-capita violent crime rate.

Just think of all of the unemployed cops, prison guards, bail bondsmen, court bailiffs, etc. in Tennessee if they didn’t have the Memphis majority-black crime engine!

Like I said this is all bullshit. Even blacks understand at a primitive level that they can’t survive without us. That is why black nationalism and “return to Africa” movements never gained any steam. I dealt with the question here: Why Isn’t black Nationalism More Widespread? Bottom line it comes down to two things: blacks understand they desperately need us and blacks see their presence amongst Whites as a form of punishment even if they don’t understand it as such.

Sadly Tennessee will not be freed from the malevolent presence of blacks in their state any time soon. It’s a shame, Tennessee like so many other states, would be an even nicer place if it weren’t for diversity (and being so freaking hot).
