There is a well established pattern of argumentation when it comes to 2Gs online. At first they will claim that Whites commit far more crimes than blacks. When you point out that a) that isn’t true for most crimes and b) introduce per capita, it is common to get conspiracy theories about blacks being arrested for crimes committed by Whites. I think it was that “Bishop” Talbert Swan guy that used to claim White people travelled to Chicago, committed violent crimes and then the Chicago cops pinned it on blacks. Others will try to deflect with references to White child molesters or White guys arrested for child porn. It certainly is a problem but it doesn’t really address the fact that blacks are over represented in every form of violent crime.
This is true for other areas, like black academic achievement (or more accurately the lack thereof), black poverty, black family dysfunction, etc.
The last resort is usually something to do with “It ain’t our fault, we have been held back all these years by slavery and Jim Crow and segregation and sheeiiit!”. You are supposed to believe that blacks would be wildly successful, amazing inventors, captains of industry, smart and not shooting each other if only it weren’t for slavery, Jim Crow and etc.
The narrative we are supposed to believe is that blacks have slowly but surely been overcoming the residual effects of slavery and Jim Crow that held them back, with blacks heroically persevering and moving forward despite institutionalized White supremacy and the genetic memory of slavery.
This is part of the “reparations” argument that claims that if blacks were to get “what they are owed” it would bring the races into parity, balance the scales and blacks would be on par with, or perhaps even ahead of, Whites. We are supposed to believe blacks never had a chance, not because of genetics, but because they were held back from the end of slavery to present day.
This is also why “reparations” advocates either avoid specific dollar amounts or demand some ridiculous sum of money per black so as to prevent Whites from finally saying “enough is enough, here is your $80,000 or whatever, now STFU”.
It is a mildly clever tactic because it is something you can’t prove.
The real story is that blacks were probably at their peak in American society during the era of Jim Crow laws, anti-miscegenation laws, pre-welfare state, segregation and especially the swift and punitive policing of the black community. Marriage rates were much higher and while black crime was still higher than Whites on a per capita basis, it wasn’t quite as bad.
When you look at the trajectory of blacks in America, it is nigh impossible to argue things are getting batter. Some of the gaps between blacks and Whites have narrowed but I attribute most of that to dysgenic breeding in Whites, bringing Whites down rather than the result of blacks achieving more.
Starting in the 1960s with the rise of radical black terrorists and political activists, then sliding into the 1980s with the crack wars and the embrace of gang culture, through the Obama years that inflamed racial tensions rather than healing the rift and up to current day where we still see the aftermath of the martyring of St. George Floyd of the Fentanyl (pbuh) in the violent crime numbers as shown below….

In the five years prior to the George Floyd Mostly Peaceful Summer of Love the U.S. averaged 362 mass shootings per year, still more than one per day on average. The five years from 2020 through 2024? The average was 621 mass shootings per year or an increase of more than 70%! 2025 saw a further decrease to 407 mass shootings but that is still more than one per day and is still dramatically higher than any year prior to 2019.
Notice that the Gun Violence Archive says mass shooting levels are down to “pre Covid levels” as if Covid was the trigger for the dramatic increase in mass shootings (pun intended), rather than the police backing off in the wake of the George Floyd Mostly Peaceful rioting.
It isn’t just shootings, mass or otherwise. There is a palpable increase in black dysfunction in other areas that I believe goes beyond the widespread availability of video recording thanks to ubiquitous smart phones and surveillance cameras. Two areas in particular:
- Random violent attacks almost exclusively on Whites and Asians, typically when there is a significant disparity between attacker(s) and victims: victims are smaller, older, female, taken unaware, dramatically outnumbered.
- Acts of “chimping out”, disputes that seem minor receiving over the top responses from climbing through the drive-thru window to throwing chairs to other acts of wanton violence up to and including murder.
The official response from the government has been to make excuses and continually release blacks back into society in the name of “equity” where they, to the suprise of absolutely no one, almost immediately commit further acts of violence, depravity and destruction.
Attempting to pamper and pander to blacks has not achieved racial parity and instead has emboldened blacks to act out on their worst, basest instincts. In fact it would seem to be the case that the lack of a strong hand restraining them has made them far worse rather than liberating them.
In short, it is my assertion that the further blacks get from the era of segregation when they were subject to a swift and severe punitive response to chimping out, the worse their behavior has become. Life was actually quantifiably better for blacks before the “Civil Rights” era than it has been since, and it it progressively getting worse.
Maybe having separate drinking fountains was a small price to pay for having some semblance of peace in our country?
