For many decades if you supported the 2nd Amendment and the inherent right to own firearms, that meant you financially supported the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA window decal was ubiquitous in many parts of America, especially in the clichéd pick-up truck window. This was back in the pre-internet days when the flow of information was far more tightly controlled even than today.
What we found out was that the NRA is controlled opposition that often compromised on gun rights while the top leadership of the organization were looting the coffers for expensive suits, “business meetings” that were basically vacations and using the association’s funds for family members to go shopping.
As an added bonus the NRA often would take credit for the work of other groups. The GOA or FPC would file a lawsuit and go to court, winning some small victory, and the NRA would claim to have helped, which may or may not have been true.

Notice the required phrase “Amid a rise in antisemitic attacks”. When you start paying attention you will see this happen over and over. A phrase is adopted by the influential class and then repeated ad nauseum. If it is a really powerful one, it will be used by “both sides”. They say it over and over, usually pretty close to word for word, so that it gets lodged into the minds of normies. They keep doing it because it keeps working.
I would wager that most of these “antisemitic attacks” occur in deep blue areas like New York City and as we all know Democrats are the “side” that is the most vocal about more gun control and also the same people that push for violent criminals to be released back on the street over and over.
As for “Jewish Americans” arming themselves, let’s look at how they vote. Below is from Pew Research in 2024…
Jews voting only 63% Democrat versus 35% Republican was considered a big win, even as Jews voted for Cumala and more gun control by a nearly 2 to 1 margin.
The historical pattern is painfully clear. Despite decades of Republican pandering on Israel and Zionism, Jews just simply don’t vote for Republicans.
The American Enterprise Institute, in a report titled The Exit Polls: A HISTORY AND TRENDS OVER TIME, 1972–2020 looked at trends in exit polling and it shows what you would expect….
In every election in my lifetime, Jews overwhelmingly voted Democrat. The closest Jews came to supporting the Republican nominee was Reagan in 1980 (he received 39% of the Jewish vote versus 45% for Carter), but everyone voted for Reagan. Apart from the 1980 outlier, Jews voted by at least 60% for the Democrat in every election since 1972, and in 1992 voted 80% for Bill Clinton. As you know, Bill Clinton was responsible for the “Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act” and the “Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act” that included the “assault weapons” ban. While Barry Obama was more vocally anti-gun, Bill Clinton saw more actual gun control proposals become reality under his administration.
In fact, in a 2022 study by the “Institute for Social Policy and Understanding”, a Muslim group so take that with a grain of salt, Jews are in line with Muslims and Catholics when it comes to believing gun laws need to be stricter.
I found the Catholic percentage to be interesting at first but almost 1/3 of American Catholics are immigrants and likely almost all of them are non-White. That explains why they support gun control at such high levels.
However you slice it, Jews are the most reliable Democrat voting block apart from blacks, and while there are a lot more blacks than Jews, Jews have an outsized influence on our political class.
I will give the NRA the benefit of the doubt and believe this campaign is being done to attract new demographic groups to the 2nd Amendment fight. They are hardly and sadly alone in this.
Remember the Gun Owners of America tweet to celebrate Juneteenth: Et tu GOA? Or the Firearms Policy Coalition a few months later posting a tweet that proclaimed “Gun Control Is Racist” with a picture of the black Panthers: FPC To GOA: Hold My Bud Light. Who better to link to the 2nd Amendment than a violent group of anti-White Marxist revolutionaries that would have loved to tear up the Constitution!
What the NRA, and clearly this applies to other gun advocacy groups as well, seems to not understand is that the link between gun ownership and 2nd Amendment advocacy is not uniform across races.
The Second Amendment is a pretty unique provision in our governing documents. Contrary to popular belief, it does not grant Americans the right to keep and bear arms. What it actually does is restrict the government from infringing on the already existent and inherent right of free people to keep and bear arms.
Nothing really similar is found in the governing documents of non-White nations.
What percentage of blacks own firearms, legal or otherwise? I would guess it is a huge percentage, perhaps unofficially even higher than Whites. Yet this has not translated into widespread support for Republicans among black voters despite the very clear, at least in rhetoric, differences in the gun rights positions of the two parties. Even black gun rights guys still seem more concerned about race than the 2A (2G Always Trumps 2A). Gun rights are an important issue for Whites that gets them to the polls, for non-Whites as a whole it is a secondary issue at best.
In summary, while the GOA and FPC continue to do great work in preserving the Second Amendment, the National Rifle Association remains hopelessly out of touch and bordering on completely useless. In other news, water is still wet.
I bought some Sinclair stuff from Brownell’s the other day (it’s so sad to see so much of the Sinclair catalogue no longer available) and I noticed their “Round Up” program now goes to GoA, not NRA.
The whole Wayne LaPierre saga soured a lot of people on NRA. There is no way the drop in support hasn’t lead to a large drop in financial contributions and budget issues.
Anytime there is a budget hole in a traditional American organization, that gives the opportunity for you-know-who to start buying influence and power in that organization, leading to it eventually being completely subverted and worn as a skinsuit to support Bolshevik objectives.
Nobody should be surprised when the NRA comes out in support of the next big federal gun control push, probably something along the lines of special permits and registration for “assault weapons” and “high capacity magazines” like other Bolshevik controlled countries that formerly had at least some gun ownership rights. These have proven to be stepping stones to ever tighter restrictions if not outright bans, of course.
In the early 90’s I had an NRA on my trucks rear window because I heard it deterred theft, but by about 1995 I had kicked them to the curb.
I haven’t been much of a joiner ever since.
The point is that the gun associations – just like every other association or organization or institution in AINO, are implicitly and explicitly acknowledging the rapidly changing racial demographics of ‘murka. Just like colleges and movies and consumer ads, they know who their audience is – and the White share is shrinking (death, and way-below replacement birth rates). Instead of race, they are focusing on ‘citizenship’ – magic dirt/paper included – as well as magic principles. So a nogger who believes the gubmint ain’t got no right to tell him what to do can’t tell him he can’t have a gun as a repeat criminal. So a jew who feels the goyim are starting to notice too many patterns is someone who should be welcomed as a ‘fellow white.’
It’s why I won’t join anything any longer – no group – why I am not registered to vote, why I asked to have my name removed from college and grad school alum registries. They are all infiltrated and converged. NONE of them can be trusted. While I can agree with Lineman in principle about Whites needing to tribe up, I am extraordinarily hesitant to trust any group enough to join it. I don’t trust any of these special-interest groups to have my back when it truly counts.
The NRA / 2A question as typically presented is irrelevant.

NRA endorsed that fucking street shitter phony son of a bitch for governor of Ohio, while Casey Putsch, an actual Ohioan, and an actual gun owner and shooter, got kicked to the curb. Ohio Gun Owners gives Casey an A+ for gun rights advocacy.
I only hang on to my NRA membership because it’s a requirement for most decent range memberships. Like Brownells, it’s time for these guys to shift their membership requirement to something like GOA. Ohio Rifle and Pistol Association requires NRA membership to join- they need to shift to GOA or something else.
