Turkey is the new Iran.
The usual disclaimer: I have no particular love for Turkey and I would love to Make Istanbul Constantinople Again but that isn’t what we are talking about here. What Naftali Bennett is talking about is head-shotting Turkey to send that country into turmoil and chaos. Turkey has a population of around 86 million people, over 99% Muslim, and is the gateway to Europe, sharing land borders with Greece and Bulgaria…
If Israel would somehow overthrow the Turkish government and send that country spiraling into chaos, guess where the “refugees” would go. Germany already has around 3 million Turks living in her borders. Imagine millions of displaced Turks flooding into a Europe that is already overrun with the dregs of humanity.
The real sticking point? Turkey is a member of NATO along with the U.S. and most of Europe and unlike Israel, Our Greatest Ally, Turkish forces fought alongside fellow NATO forces since Korea. There was even a M*A*S*H episode that featured a Greek and a Turkish soldier fighting in the hospital. If Israel pushes the issue, where will the U.S. come down? On the side of Turkey, a member of NATO since 1952, or Israel, a nation that has never lifted a finger to help the U.S.?
Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty states that an attack on one member state is considered an attack on all of them. If Israel, not a member state, should openly attack Turkey would NATO hit Israel?
I doubt it but mostly because Israel doesn’t take military action unless their slave soldiers in the U.S. will do the heavy lifting. Then again maybe they think their hold over the U.S. is solid enough to attack Turkey and then demand America protect them once again.
Israel is a rogue state that is all the more dangerous because they own the U.S. political class. For example Ted Cruz, a “conservative stalwart” from the Eternally Red State of Texas, is completely owned by Israel…

He is bad enough in the Senate but his name has been floated by Trump for the Supreme Court in just the last few days. Ted Cruz is only 55, just imagine how much damage he could do on the SCOTUS.
Israel won’t rest until the entire region is completely destabilized and Israeli hegemony is complete. With support for Israel cratering in the U.S. and the rest of the West and with Israel’s devout cult dying off in the American electorate, they know their time is growing short and that makes them even more dangerous.
