Rob “Meathead” Reiner and his wife have been murdered, apparently by their “troubled” son Nick.
Reiner was an acclaimed director. I have seen a few of his films, A Few Good Men of course and Misery. I recently watched for the first time The Princess Bride which I didn’t care for at all. Several films I didn’t see like Ghosts of Mississippi and God & Country look like far left propaganda pieces.
In general he was a pretty standard Jewish Hollywood leftist, one of the limousine liberals that scolded working class people while living in unimaginable luxury. In almost every aspect of his life he was working at odds with what I believe and so I am not sorry he is dead. At all. He will be lionized by the same people that danced and cheered when Charlie Kirk was assassinated but who will expect fawning tributes from the people Meathead hated as much as they do. Fuck that noise.

Reiner was undoubtedly a very wealthy fellow and he was by any measure a far left crackpot who worked to tear down the country I love and Western civilization itself, no doubt with a great deal of influence purchased by the enormous sums of money he earned by his “gifts”.
For those on the Meathead side of the political equation, it doesn’t matter what you do if you believe “the wrong way”. You could be on the verge of curing childhood cancer and if it was revealed that you once said the word nigger in middle school while singing along to a rap song, they would gleefully see your life destroyed. It doesn’t matter what you do or how good a person you are, if you don’t agree with them you are a literal Nazi and deserve anything that happens to you, no matter how horrible.

Well said. I’ve already commented a couple of other places this morning regarding my distaste for the man, and the fact he made a couple of movies I found entertaining doesn’t change that. My life would be entirely unaffected by the lack of his movies, if they had never existed. And yet the political and social subversion he was an advocate of, and party to, most certainly has had negative effects on my life. So, his expiration can only be a benefit to me, as it takes a wealthy and influential liberal out of play.
And you are correct in pointing out that all too many (ostensibly) on the political right will be conciliatory and make undue accomodations for guys like him, because they place too much value on the movies he produced, rather than recognizing the damage he was doing to their culture and future. Just as they do for a 2G who helps their favorite sportsball team win a championship, or a Mexican who “does such a nice job” of cutting their grass. These are all meaningless distractions of a wholly unserious society, and the focus on these sideshows, rather than focusing on destroying our enemies, is quite literally going to kill us.

What most miss and do not understand, if they understand it at all, is that allowing agency to women along with ‘universal suffrage’ has led to undesired catastrophic consequences.
What is needed to save Western Civilization isn’t a ‘return to jesus’ (giving one’s mind and life to any monotheistic delusional disorder deathcult based on belief in any fictional storybook isn’t a rational answer in any manner).
It isn’t based in any emotions based approach against imaginary threats of porn, A.I., Japanese manga/anime or personal autonomy and freedom conjured forth by conservatives (who are infamous for not conserving anything), so called self-described tradcons and their devoid of intellect christian nationalist fellow travelers.
All three groups prioritize authoritarian dominated emphasis of so called ‘stability’ over individual liberty and freedom of choice – they aspire to a situation of one sided control which is illogical and not a solution.
What is necessary as a solution is actually quite simple: Take women’s rights away – specially remove their right to vote, hold any public office or have any job outside the home as their only valid ‘job’ IS to be a dutiful wife to their husband and to help properly raise her husband’s children.

The question is, when will Men finally choose to take women’s rights away and follow up with the second and third options.
