When we think about the future, it is understandable that we reference movies. They are such a major part of our lives that we instinctively frame current events through those lenses.
I am leaning now toward something like Robocop, the original, where the cops are outgunned and badly overmatched, cities are urban wastelands of violent crime and anarchy and our overlords have big plans that don’t really involve us being around (or alive).
The fun part is that They don’t plan on suffering along with the peons so They have plans for their own safety and comfort. The consequences of the decisions of our elites are for us to suffer, not Them.

We have friends who stuck with government work (not on the east coast), sent their sole kid to daycare from infancy, both worked full time, and have been retired for a number of years. They rely on their invested 401ks, social security, and government pensions. We left the government and barely managed on one income (with generous financial help from grandparents), raised our kids ourselves, sent them to Christian schools, and used quite a bit of our 401k to buy our mortgage-less land and small house.
Our friends live in a majority non-White city/suburb, and remain confident their ‘investments’ will see them through whatever may come. We now live out in the woods in a White area. My husband is still working, and such ‘investments’ that we have are not in the bank – nor out there for the feds/corporatists to take. Yes, we’d lose a fair amount we still have in the 401k, but we trust ourselves and some preparedness rather than assuming ‘retirement’ money will still be there when we need it. While the very comfortable financial status of most of our old ‘government friends’ sometimes rankles, we stand by our choices and believe we made the better decisions for the short and longer term . . . in what we see as an unstable/unsafe US.

Look at the clearance rate for black on black murder. There is a certain karmic justice in it too, in this particular case, and I have to say I got a solid chuckle out of seeing this guy had been popped. Charlie Kirk was a gateway drug for normies who were in the early stages of changing their thinking. He wasn’t nearly hard edged enough to advocate for the actions that really need to be taken, but he was beneficial in bringing the tepid and non-committal into the realm of “wrong think”, and so was beneficial in that regard. Sure, there were problems with some of his positions, but he was, in essence, an ally. It is as a husband and father where his loss will be most tragic, and it burns me up that another white family has been wrecked by some piece of shit.
I don’t want this to sound like victim blaming, but I just don’t understand why he insisted on these campus appearances. He was sparring face to face with people who were so thoroughly indoctrinated, and who hated him so much, that this sort of outcome was inevitable. And for what? Did he change a single mind at any of these events? Doubtful. So, it was just agitation for it’s own sake, while putting himself at grave risk. Just like Iryna Zarutska getting on that train in Charlotte, surrounded by known enemies, and discounting the risk of doing so to her own detriment.
The good guys have to learn not to set their own traps, this was a forced error and totally avoidable. Sure, someone could’ve targeted him elsewhere, while out eating, or shopping,.or at the park with his kids. But those are not situations where one actively went seeking confrontation, with no real payoff to be had for taking the risk.

Go look at all the excuses people make for blacks over at Peter Grant”s blog (Bayou renaissance man). They all have IKAGOs. They all know ‘decent’ blacks who are ‘appalled’ by the noggers. Kirk’s campus stuff wasn’t about changing the minds of the well and truly indoctrinated. It was to show normie the insanity of the big-L Left, and to show what cesspools our universities have become. And I think CK WAS having an effect. I think his approach was mostly a waste of time, and as I had long expected, and it turns out, was more dangerous that could be justified for what little headway it may have gained amongst the NPC’s he was trying to enlighten. I have to assume he knew he was a target, and so I have to respect the fact he didn’t back down and choose to avoid walking into the mouth of harm, even if I think it was a poor decision to make.
