A Big ‘Un In Indiana

In (not that far from me) Elkhart County, there was a big mass shooting over the weekend with 11 shot and 1 killed. You know what that means…..

Police identify man killed in mass shooting in Elkhart

Elkhart Police have released the name of the man killed in a mass shooting on West Garfield Avenue over the weekend.

30-year-old Davelle Osby died at the hospital Sunday.

Shots rang out in the 300 block of West Garfield Avenue just after 1 a.m. Sunday.

12 people were taken to the hospital, including Osby.

Searches for Davelle Osby all returned a rapper of some sort going by “Blickboy Dizzy”. Seriously.

Looks like he had a whole tribe of little 2Gs. His instagram has the obligatory wannabe gangsta pics…

Look dawg we holding money and we lookin’ at money on the floor of a gas station and we muggin’ wit money in front of dem chips and coolers at the gas station. I guess when you are a ruthless criminal gangsta but live in Elkhart, Indiana that is what you do. Grand Theft Auto it ain’t.

I did a little more due diligence digging. The profile for Blickboy Dizzy has a lot of Osby’s as friends….

Plus I followed a link to a Facebook friend of his who posted yesterday mourning the passing of Blickboy Dizzy. At least I think that is what this gibberish is trying to express…

Other reports indicated it was a “block party” of some sort and you can watch a video at this link with the usual chatter of gun fire followed by crowds of blacks running.

Elkhart only has a population of around 54,000 and is best known for manufacturing RVs although most of the RVs made in Northern Indiana are manufactured by Amish crews that make obscene amounts of money, until the RV industry goes through a downcycle. Despite being a smaller city in Indiana, the demographics are pretty standard with around 13% of the population being black, less than half now are White and the mestizo population rapidly increasing to over 30% as of the last census, more than doubling from 2000 to 2020.

There was also a mass shooting in Columbus, Ohio (home of THE Ohio State University/Columbus Community College) with one killed and six others wounded. The deceased is one Jusiah Mason. Really, let me take a wild stab at his race. Yep….

It was a decent weekend weather-wise and it shows. The Gun Violence Archive lists 10 mass shootings from Saturday to Sunday. With Juneteenth right around the corner, meaning lots of blacks gathered to “celebrate” something they didn’t do, that means prime time for mass shootings. I still expect the drastically reduced shootings in America to turn around soon. According to Hey Jackass! there were *only* 3 people killed and 11 wounded in Chicago last weekend so Elkhart, Indiana with only 53,000 people almost matched Chicongo but last year over Father’s Day weekend the Woundy City tallied a massive number: 10 killed and 64 wounded in a single weekend and even that pales in comparison to 2020 with 17 killed and 96 wounded.

Spicy times are in the offing, if it isn’t riots it might be mass shootings. Just stay clear of any place where these are likely. That and always be strapped.

Some of you remember Old Remus & his Woodpile Report? He always emphasized how important it is to avoid crowds.I know it’s sometimes hard to do. Keep it in mind, especially with riot season now in progress. I’m down here in south central Ohio along the Ohio River. Nice & peaceful. That shit can stay up there in Columbus.

Too bad Jo Jo Brandon and comrade kommissar Mayorkas (HIAS) can’t import some vibrant diverse enrichment for the Fundamental Transformation.

    Shots rang out…

Do gunshots really ‘ring’? Not in my experience. Church bells ‘ring’. Telephones at least used to ‘ring’. Not firearms. Has anyone ever heard gunfire and said, “Did you hear ringing? I am sure I just heard ringing.”

I’m not sure why, but my favorite name – by far – of the rogues gallery in the one attached picture is “Antwan” (in the green argyle top). That they took Antoine, and so thoroughly bastardized the spelling, just makes me laugh. I can picture his mama right after delivering him, trying to give his name for the birth certificate. “Sound it out, A-N-T-W-A-N.” I’m disappointed at the lack of an apostrophe, though.

Come to think of it, maybe when a bunch of banjo lip moon crickets get together and have a mass shooting, instead of calling it a catastrophe, we should start referring to it as an apostrophe.

So, now we are on the hook for >My Fam Bam Fosho< ?? I mean, that is a lotta chillins to be raised from 0 to 28. I count 5 +de mama. It is gonna take EBT, a separate welfare check, and SNAP to get enough on the table. I hope we are all prepared to work harder.
