Well, Lookie Here….

The pilot of the military Black Hawk helicopter that collided with a passenger airplane over Washington, D.C., in January ignored instructions to change course seconds before the crash, according to a new report.

The report, published by the New York Times on Sunday, detailed the Black Hawk’s exchanges with air traffic controllers in the lead-up to the disaster, which left 67 people dead.

According to the report, the Black Hawk pilot, Capt. Rebecca Lobach, was conducting her annual flight evaluation and her co-pilot, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, was serving as her flight instructor.

When air traffic controllers informed the Black Hawk that there was an airliner nearby, Lobach and Eaves acknowledged the message and requested to fly by “visual separation,” a common practice that allows aircraft to avoid collisions based on their own observations rather than following instructions from air traffic control.

“The Black Hawk was 15 seconds away from crossing paths with the jet. Warrant Officer Eaves then turned his attention to Captain Lobach. He told her he believed that air traffic control wanted them to turn left, toward the east river bank,” the Times wrote.

“Turning left would have opened up more space between the helicopter and Flight 5342, which was heading for Runway 33 at an altitude of roughly 300 feet. She did not turn left,” the report said.

Exsqueeze me Mr. Man, but the patriarchy don’t fly on this Blackhawk. How dare you try to mansplain flying to a strong independent woman that don’t need no man? Don’t you know that Captain Lobach was a “White House military social aide in the Biden administration”? Checkmate chauvinist. Now sit down and watch a woman work.

Hey that plane seems kinda close….

This guy gets it…

While I am not a pilot of any sort, I would like to think that if I was and I was flying in very crowded airspace like D.C. and the tower was telling me to turn left and the guy assigned to evaluate me was telling me the tower said to turn left….

I would turn left.

That’s just me and I am a well known misogynist.

I didn’t know this chick and you probably didn’t either but you and I can add 2 plus 2 and come up with 4. Why she refused the instructions to turn left is something no one can know for sure but again, you can probably make an educated guess.

Bottom line, flying a military chopper or any aircraft is an enormous responsibility and one that should be carefully distributed based only on factors like competence and mental and physical aptitude. Instead Captain Rebecca Lobach is dead as are two male service members named above and a whole plane full of civilians.

And there it is. I’m actually surprised the story didn’t get sugar coated to cover for what actually took place.

Yes, just saw that on ZeroHedge. Of course the nyt would try to pull some shit like that. Not that it matters, true believers will still lionize the stupid bint who got so many people needlessly killed, since no facts are capable of reaching them. In that regard, the nyt may as well have been be tossing off rather than bothering to say anything. Their propaganda isn’t even needed to maintain the illusion for those already indoctrinated.

So with her “job” in the Whithouse under the Biden regime, why isn’t anyone saying the obvious…..? It was a politically motivated event by a mentally defective TDS whacko who is no different than a suicide bomber

One of my first thoughts after I heard of her swanning about in the White House was, I guess she was not keeping up her skills while she is so occupied with virtue signaling for wahmen in the military, at the point of the spear, don’t ya know.

Thing is, knowing this doesn’t bring anyone back from the dead, and will not make Lobach’s family and supporters feel any shame. It will not stop other entitled princesses from ‘being all they can be’ and joining the military, where they do not belong. It will merely reinforce what we dissidents already know.

Just like the news that US military members were both guests and guards at the illegal mestizo dance club in Colorado Springs. The usual cuckservatard commenters – even those who correctly assume they are likely all mestizos – call them ‘traitors’ and want them sent to Leavenworth. They never had any allegiance to heritage America in the first place, and their loyalty has always been to ‘la raza,’ so not traitors. Just hostile aliens we allowed in, and all they deserve is a single round to the head.

And then we have the ‘tragedy’ at a Flippino festival in Canada. So proud of their sh*t culture as they live in the White man’s world. Ho hum. I just don’t care any more – about any of it.

The attack in Vancouver on the Philippino event was carried out by another Philippino who was muslim. It sounds like recent arrival but was known to the rcmp. The cops claim he suffers from mental illness and is not a terrorist.

Of course today is our federal election, can’t admit two days before that a Muslim let in by the liberals went on a killing spree, that could hurt the liberals in todays election.

      • 3g4me

I didn’t read that he was Muslim – would appreciate if you’d share where you saw that. Personally, I don’t care in the least that a Sino-Filipino killed other Filipinos. Only concern is that it took place in Canada, where there shouldn’t be any Filipinos, particulary not while ‘celebrating’ their crappy ‘culture’ while parasiting off of White people and nations. You can find Filipinos in almost every nation across the globe – they’re in Poland now too – and it’s not because they are all so smart, capable, and hard-working.

        • Exile1981

I’m assuming he’s muslim because media reported that he was known to rcmp and was a supporter of IS (islamic state). They usually dont take non muzzies. It was the gateway pundit that had the info on IS.

Huh. I figured what crashed that copter into that jet was oppression or the patriarchy or social injustice or some such. Turns out it was just physics after all. I sure didn’t see that coming.

There are fully-competent helicopter pilots, male and female alike. The real problem with DEI/woke/affirmative action is that you don’t know what you are getting when you strap yourself into a passenger seat of a bird flown by a woman ~ someone who won their wings legitimately and knows how to fly or someone promoted above their level of competence who has no business being a pilot at all, much less a pilot in command.

The Pentagon/DOD and the respective services have been lying to Americans and themselves for decades about things like competency, merit and the like. I am so old that I remember Lt. Kara Hultgreen, the so-called “naval aviator” who crashed her F-14 Tomcat as she attempted to land it above the flat-top U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln in October 1994.

Hultgreen had washed out of training a number of times, due to her difficulty mastering arrested landings and other requirements made of naval aviators – and should have been dropped from the course. But the fix was in, and high-command said keep testing her until she “passes,” and so she got her wings of gold. Which she did not earn legitimately, and had no business wearing.

Her crash cost her life, and destroyed a multi-millionaire dollar airframe paid for by the U.S. taxpayer. It is fortunate that no one else was killed or gravely injured due to her incompetence and the negligence of the navy brass and politicians on the ‘Hill – or that the vessel itself was not jeopardized by a subsequent fire and/or explosions of ordnance, fuel, etc.

Women do not belong in combat aviation, anymore than they belong in the other combat arms. Hultgreen’s affirmative-action career cost a fully-qualified male pilot a slot in the program, and wasted millions of dollars in funding, lost man-hours and equipment damaged or destroyed. Because she was the weak link in the chain, she also materially weakened her unit, and the operational effectiveness of her ship and its crew.

Feminists and others claim that high-tech – fly-by-wire and hydraulic assisted controls – have rendered male strength irrelevant to naval operations, whether in the air or afloat.

This is utter nonsense and a complete lie: When the power-assisted controls on an aircraft go out, especially if the aircraft is executing a high-G maneuver, strength then becomes exceedingly important to keeping the airframe in the air. Combat-damaged aircraft can/do lose hydraulics and other systems, even in redundant ones. Physics is a stone-cold b*tch when it comes to things like this. Surface warfare personnel – the men who really know their trade – know that damage control above a man-of-war is perhaps the most-physically demanding job in the entire navy.

The navy likes to claim that female personnel are the equal of their male shipmates in this vital area, but that is wishful thinking. Add to that the fact that the U.S. Navy has not fought a peer/near-peer opponent since WW2, and you have a recipe for disaster.

And that doesn’t even get into the enormous costs feminism and the “you go, girl!” crowd have cost the navy in terms of undisclosed friction, additional financial and other burdens. Navy ships at sea – or under it – should be all-male. The same goes for the USCG.

Ask anyone who has been in the service the last 20 years and they’ll all tell you that the minute the notice is sent out that a unit is going to be deployed, the birth control pills get flushed and a good percentage of the female members “coincidentally” get knocked up and can’t deploy.

There are female Navy Chiefs E7 and up who have NEVER deployed yet always get promoted !

Oh and that Blackhawk pilot wasn’t a coal burner rather she was a PROUD rug muncher and rumor is she was the mistress of a rug munching female senior officer.

      • Boatswain

Yep ….Pregnant right before deployment , and the endless body fat % waivers for PRT’s due to being pregnant or recovering from pregnancies . Fat Asses in uniform , a terrible look , certainly not a good military bearing for evals.

    • Just me

Remember, John McCain did not have a split.
Just a daddy who would cover for ya.
Incompetence is not just based on gender, but supported from above. (even back then)
134 people had to die so he could be the hero later in life.
Why did so many die in captivity as a prisoner, but he came back?
If the Lord is true, may this POS burn in hell and all who allow it.

        • TakeAHardLook

If reports are true, McShytStain accidentally launched a missile on deck, saw the awful conflagration that was occurring and exited his aircraft, walked to a hatchway and went down into the hold (of the USS Forrester) and hid from sight.

While dozens of his shipmates met their deaths fighting the fires that kept the Forrester afloat, saving McShytStain’s worthless & privileged ass.

          McShytStain, fo’ schizzle!

She requested flying via visual separation? Holy shit, the black hawk has a cruising speed of 170 mph and the commercial aircraft has (or had) a cruising speed well north of 500 mph. Even if they weren’t flying at full speed, you still have a closing speed of over 500 mpg (and maybe closer to 700 mph). There’s no way you’re going see and dodge another aircraft by visual separate. No one in that airspace has any reason to request “visual separation” and if they do, they should be immediately grounded.

“Capt. Rebecca Lobach, was conducting her annual flight evaluation…”

In the final approach to Washington Reagan Airport?

    Whose idea was that?

    Why?

And I’d be Certain that the Instructor was thinking about Grabbing the Controls, but was also trying to Decide if Destroying his Career by doing so was worth “Hoping” they wouldn’t hit that other Aircraft. The numbers of Women who can be Average Pilots is small, the numbers who can Fly at Exceptional Skill Levels even smaller. In the 12 Years or so when I worked as an Part 121 (Airline) Jet Mechanic, EVERY female ‘pilot’ had F’kk’d its way into the Cock-Pit.

  9. Danny

The CWO “instructor” failed – FAILED. By not taking control, he allowed the mayhem and death. I wonder why?

And the fact that the army chain of command got off free and clear fucking pisses me off. Those bastards need to answer for this.
