Paramedic fatally stabbed by patient he was trying to help during ambulance ride
A Missouri woman accused of fatally stabbing a paramedic who was trying to help her has been charged with murder.
The Clay County Prosecutor’s Office announced Sunday evening that 38-year-old Shanetta Bossell has been charged with murder in the first-degree and armed criminal action in the death of 29-year-old Graham Hoffman, a firefighter-paramedic with the Kansas City Fire Department….
…..The Kansas City Police Department says just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, emergency crews were called to the area of 152 Highway and North Oak Trafficway with reports of a woman, later identified as Bossell, walking on the highway. Callers had been concerned for her safety.
Responding officers said they located Bossell and requested EMS for further treatment. Around 1:25 a.m., as an ambulance headed to Saint Luke’s Hospital, Bossell allegedly stabbed Hoffman.
First responders say the ambulance was stopped on 152 Highway near Platte Purchase Rd. as officers and additional firefighters took Bossell into custody. A knife was recovered from the ambulance.
Hoffman was taken to the intensive care unit at North Kansas City Hospital. Unfortunately, the fire department indicated the knife pierced the paramedic’s heart, and he succumbed to his injuries. He had served with KCFD since 2022.

Those two pictures pretty much sum up the state of “race relations” in America. A 29 year guy who does a dangerous job helping people was cut down in the prime of his life trying to help a vicious sociopathic 2G who I assume has never done anything useful in her 38 years infesting this planet.
Is Bossell mentally ill or just black? It is hard to tell the difference most of the time. I am not sure why the officers that called for EMS didn’t check to make sure she was armed, maybe that would be considered racial profiling. Even better, Bossell was just arrested last week but let out of jail on a tiny bond after assaulting a cop….

I am a little shocked that EMT’s don’t check for weapons. I guess the altruism of saving lives is of more urgency than assuming that everyone in arm’s reach may be a mortal threat. That commie trash judge is doing fine work there, idn’t he? Good Americans paying the price every day.
Something’s not right with this story. I used to be an EMT. When a patient is placed on a gurney they are strapped down. Always. So that they can’t accidently, or otherwise, roll off. How did she yank a blade if she was strapped down?

Agreed, Ghostsniper. There is a lot missing from this story. At what point in the encounter did she stab the paramedic? Was she still standing? Or was she already on the gurney? If so, was she still outside, or did it happen inside the ambulance? Was she strapped down, and if so were her arms free or not? Piss poor reporting.
As we have seen with the Austin Metcalf murder, it only takes literally one or two seconds for someone to be fatally stabbed by someone in close proximity. As such, I am surprised that it is not SOP for police/firemen/paramedics to check for weapons, and especially and always when the person being detained is black, And as this murder demonstrates, black females should be assumed to be potentially just as deadly as the males.
George, the females should be considered more dangerous. Besides the usual 2G lack of self control they lack any emotional control. Any ghetto sheboon will have a long string of assault charges and such, and can not be trusted to act in a civilized manner.
