Court docs reveal armed man in Huntertown allegedly killed son over money
This was somewhat newsworthy because Huntertown is north of Fort Wayne and is not only one of the fastest growing areas in Allen County, it was at least recently over 93% White and less than 2% black. Most of the shootings in Fort Wayne occur in the southeast but it just so happens that the shooter in this case was part of the less than 2%. I guess the problems in Fort Wayne are not geographic, they are demographic.
He was on probation after serving a long prison term and had just requested release to spend more time with family and focus on his health.
But on Wednesday, 43-year-old Taurean Hayden was accused of killing his adult son (Taurean Malik Hayden) and then walking around naked with a gun in a Huntertown neighborhood.
He didn’t lie, he did spend more time with his family, at least long enough to shoot his son. Mr. Hayden seems quite stable….
During an interview at the police station, Hayden started shaking and told an officer to kill him, according to court documents. The officer assured him that was not going to happen and asked Hayden why he felt that he needed to die. Hayden’s answer was that, “his son already killed him,” according to court documents.
Hayden allegedly admitted to using fentanyl the day before, adding he shot his son in the head because “his son owed him money,” according to court documents.
He was on probation for dealing coke, he was busted in 2009 with a kilo of coke and $100,000 in cash. At 43 it is safe to assume he has been in jail or committing crimes when not for his entire adult life.
Hey, at least he was a father involved in his son’s life. That sets him apart in the black community.
Someone should send him a Thank you card for getting rid of his bad genetics it’s just too bad he didn’t off himself…
He wrote a letter to the parole board due to the fact he needed some sort of organ transplant.
He didn’t want his prison sentence to preclude him from the surgery.
I think his bigger problem is just being a nigger.

So Hayden Sr. was the real victim here. Got it. Guess he hasn’t learned yet that the “dindu nuffin'” defense has not worked out real well for many of his contemporaries. And perp-to-victim blame transfer is only valid for black-to-White.
On a side note, intergenerational debt never ends well in any family I’ve ever seen. Give it away or don’t, but never ‘lend’ it.
