Wow, what a relief! For a moment there I though we might get a nominee to the Trump administration that wasn’t going to grovel at the feet of Our Greatest Ally™. Here was my favorite comment:
Kashyap “Kash” Patel isn’t an American in any recognizable sense. Sure he was born in the U.S. but his parents were immigrants from India. More specifically his parents came to the U.S. via Canada by way of East Africa from India. They have no connection to the historical U.S. nation nor to her people. They just came here to make more money and enjoy the luxury of indoor plumbing. There are plenty of guys purporting to be dissidents who will dance around the topic, “maybe Asians aren’t White but they can be based!” or “Some mestizos are light skinned so they are almost White!”, but no matter how “based” you cannot discount racial and ethnic solidarity for any group other than Whites.
Trump has some weird fascination with Indian subcontinent Asians, perhaps as a result of being pals now with Elon Musk, but there is a reason that India is a shithole with a per capita GDP of under $3000: It is full of Indians.
Maybe Kash Patel will get confirmed and maybe he will be a super awesome director of the FBI. We will see but there are warning signs a’plenty already.

You guys remember the briefest of respites we had on election night? What might have almost passed for a sense of “hope”. Yeah, it’s gone again, as we watch one sack of shit after another get nominated. Probably the quickest political reality check of my lifetime so far (not that I had any real illusions on how this process would go). And know this: any of this first round of appointees that don’t get confirmed will be replaced with even worse nominees, simply by virtue of the fact that they have to suck dick just to get through confirmation.
Aw well, deep down we knew this is how it was going to play out. It’s a bitch to be so cynical and nihilistic, but I’d still rather black pill on reality, than hold onto some delusional fantasy based in false hope.
Since we don’t make it through the next term fiscally (a collapse is assured just on exponentially runaway medical costs, to say nothing of all the other economic hits now coming) it really doesn’t matter.
