The numbers being bandied about are hard to understand. 10 million, 20 million, 30 million or perhaps more illegal aliens living in our country with millions of new illegals entering every year Biden has been propped up in the Oval Orifice. With something like 330 million people living within the borders of the United States it is conceivable that 1 in 10 of those people are here illegally. No one is even sure how many there are, although everyone knows that it is more than the 12-15 million number that hasn’t gone up in decades.
On the other hand, America is a big place with over 3.5 million square miles of land. While illegals are found everywhere, there are lots around here working for Amish crews, most of these illegals seem to be concentrated in large urban areas and in border states like Texas, California and Arizona. It often can feel like A Problem but Not My Problem, like Miracle-Americans shooting each other by the thousands in cities I don’t want to visit anyway. A couple dozen illegals working construction crews around here doesn’t really impact me, although occasionally one will get drunk and hit a buggy full of Amish or molest an Amish girl.
It won’t stay like that for long and it is not just the actual illegals themselves but also the children they have once they get here that magically become “Americans” just like you and me by virtue of Consuela squeezing them out on American soil. There won’t be many places left of any size that don’t have the blessings of “diversity” being showered upon them.

Springfield sits between Columbus and Dayton in the Buckeye state of Ohio, a tough break for the city and people that live there. It’s a decent sized city of around 58,000 people, pretty standard Midwestern fare. At least it was.
Springfield, Ohio is struggling with the influx of 15,000-20,000 Haitian migrants over the last few years into their community of about 58,000.
“This border crisis, the policy of this administration, is failing cities like ours and taxing us beyond our limit,” said Springfield Mayor Rob Rue on “Fox & Friends First.”
Rue described the wave of Haitian migrants into the area as a “quick increase” to the population just over the last five years.
“This has overwhelmed safety services and caused great concern for our community,” he said.

Let’s say the number is likely closest to 20,000. That would be more than 1/4 of all the people living in the city are Haitian detritus. A quarter of the people living in a small city are “refugees” from the most backward country in the Western hemisphere. Haitians have the distinction of being without peer when it comes to being violent, ignorant, superstitious and lazy. No place in the world would benefit from the addition of a single Haitian, much less 20,000 of them. A small city in Ohio being overrun by 20,000 Haitians? They will never be rid of them, not even if Orange Man Bad “wins”. They are a cancer on that town that nothing can cure, festering until it kills off the host and then moves on to a new host to destroy.
Living in Springfield, Ohio will make the lives of the Haitians marginally better. The presence of 20,000 Haitians living in Springfield will make the lives of the Americans living there immeasurably worse. These Haitians will breed and then their ignorant, violent spawn will fill the Springfield schools, making the schools poorer and more dangerous for the children of the people that fund those schools.
There is no plausible reason that 20,000 Haitians should just happen to leave their shithole island, somehow make their way to America and then ooze their way to Springfield, Ohio. These “people” have been intentionally inflicted on the good people of Springfield as a weapon of mass destruction.
This same scene is being repeated all over the country, cities large and small being overrun by an army of idiots and animals. The goal is the same across the country: displacing and terrorizing the heritage American people. However much you hate Them, you don’t hate Them nearly enough.

Old enough I remember when they did it with Somalis to, famously, Minneapolis (Mogadishu on the Mississippi) and lesser known to Columbus Ohio.
And Lewiston-Auburn, Maine. Went from essentially zero blacks (of any kind) to around 10% (nearly all Somali) in a decade. I know one of the key people involved in making that happen (but the main architect of the Somalization of L-A was a … waaaait for it … a New York lawyer). I pointed out that nothing is improved with injection of Africans (unless you mean Afrikaaners or Rhodesians, maybe). The angry reposte I got was “but they’ve opened ethnic restaurants!”

There are some developers getting filthy rich by building giant tracts full of cheap houses just north of Houston. Half don’t even have utilities. Websites and realtors who only speak spanish target the illegals with special loans, govt assistance programs, and a guarantee that “we can get you into a home today” type BS that you typically only see at the buy-here pay-here used car lots.
And I’m betting the big city commie types are deliberately targeting mid-sized conservative working class suburbs for this type of resettlement. NIMBY and all that, plus putting a plague on your political enemies. Those small communities don’t have the resources to handle that and will collapse without the big brother coming in to “help” fix a problem they created.

I remember reading about the development north of Houston and, unfortunately but not necessarily surprising, is that at least one of the people doing it claims to be a conservative. As a general thing, though, you are right. The high-minded lefties who feel everyone has a ‘right’ to be housed, no matter their backstory, feel pretty confident that it will be NIMBY. Examples abound; one is Massachusetts, where I lived long ago.
Even 10+ years ago, working class communities like Lynn were having to absorb thousands of immigrants at a time. The strain on every city service was felt, but especially in the school system, which was forced to take an unending stream of Latin American kids, virtually all of whom spoke no English, had had no vaccinations, and whose age could not be verified. Imagine having a ninth-grade daughter and knowing that some 20-yr-old gang member was now enrolled in her classes, because that’s what they did with any older teenager who claimed to be 18 or younger–they stuck them in the ninth grade. (It’s easy to say, “Homeschool them,” but not necessarily feasible for many families in places like that.) Meanwhile, the doctors and lawyers and government bureaucrats who lived in Newton and other wealthy suburbs did not have to worry about _their_ children’s safety and education being compromised.
It was the same story decades earlier, with busing. The people pushing it thought Southie–basically the white slums–would be the perfect place to forcibly mix the races in schools. They knew full well it would torpedo any actual instruction or learning for at least a couple of years, so why not do it to the Southie kids who had no prospects, anyway. Certainly not their children, who needed to do well on the SATs and get into a good college.
Added bonus, they got to tut tut with each other at cocktail parties about the ignorant racist whites who put their city on the national news. Despicable.

It’s always feasible AND preferable especially in places like that, if one prioritizes the important things in their lives.
The first step is in doing some research into what home schooling ACTUALLY is, rather than what you THINK it is.
Most people ignorantly think home schooling is public schooling done at home, and of course they couldn’t be more wrong.
I am a big proponent of homeschooling, so my comment was in no way a disparagement of it (and I’m a former public school teacher). I am not at all ignorant about it.
Merely pointing out that scolding or shaming parents who aren’t choosing it is only appropriate for the ones who really do have the capacity (and yes–even then, it requires sacrifice, and is worth it.)
If you love your children you already have more “capacity” to educate them then the so-called professionals
Well, sure, in a lot of cases. But not all. I’m acquainted with a couple who are determined to home school, the mom does not have to earn money and has been home with her children full time since they were born, yet her four-year old still wears diapers and cannot count past 2. I don’t know what the heck they’re doing, but no one is learning much.
I saw drone footage of those places, the buildings look like they would blow down in a stiff breeze but they still are better than whatever hovels they lived in back in Mexico.

I have never been to Springfield but it sounds like a pretty standard formerly working class town that has fallen on hard times and now is really falling on hard times thanks to an influx of Haitians.
I occasionally visited Springfield years ago. What a dump. The old town was a negro infested shit hole. It was depressing to see once grand but now dilapidated Victorian houses divided into apartments with shirtless negroes, their fat mammies and dirty pickaninnies crouching on the rickety porches and grass less front yards. So, it looks like the Haitians will feel right at home.
That is true for many midwestern cities, you can see the nice city that used to be there before the Whites moved out and the blacks moved in.
