Have you ever told someone close to you that they shouldn’t do something because it was obvious that it would blow up in their face, but they ignored you and of course it blew up in their face?
You don’t want to take pleasure in their pain but you have to admit a grim satisfaction at seeing it.
That is where we are this morning.
Of course I have a lot to say about this debacle but today is going to be a busy one from 6 AM to probably 8 PM and I have very limited time to write so I am squeezing this in.
My general take on the “election” results that were even worse than I anticipated:
I am not a political strategist but maybe centering your political party exclusively around the whims of a foreign country isn’t a winning strategy?
Thomas Massie has once again been vindicated, this is a tweet from last year after the off year elections went so badly for Republicans:

Yep.
My only real regret is that Brandon Herrera lost what seemed to be a lay-up election, dragged down like the rest of the GOP by Trump and his Israel fetish. Now a woman that is a less attractive version of Jabba the Hutt is joining the freakshow we call Congress.

There will be lots of ass covering and blame assigning but it really comes down to this:
Israel was on the ballot last night and the results speak as loudly as an IDF bomb blowing up children.
Don’t expect that the Republicans will take the correct lesson from this of course. More later time permitting.
Jesus H. Christ-on-a-Cracker, but that woman has more chins than a Hong Kong telephone book.
We Are Fqd!
As for Trump: “Whom the gods wish to destroy they first make proud.”
Has anyone beside myself noticed how sometimes a person’s name fits them to a tee. Classic case in point with Katy Padilla Stout. She’ll be another toady for the Democratic leadership with no interest in actually representing her district.
Maybe this election burns down the current Republican Party, and something better can take its place.
“We bought the ticket. Now we have to ride the ride.”
One last time…”Chrump will save us!” Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha…….
The foreseeable future is going to be very difficult, living through and sorting out the scum about to take power. However, ripping out the Trump/GOP crime and grift syndicate is a necessary first step. Much schadenfreude ahead I think.
How many years have I been typing different versions of “Demography is Destiny” online now? Texas hasn’t been White for decades. I was shocked at how nonwhite it was when I first moved there in ’92. Hardly ever met a ‘native Texan.’ So decades of unchecked mestizo immigrants, plus han plus pajeets . . . plus Katrina’s sewer overflow . . . plus Californians. Many of us knew this was going to happen, and a lot sooner than the experts liked to claim (Texas ‘blue’ within a decade – hah!). I honestly didn’t even know Abbott was up for re-election – I have not followed any of the ‘election’ reporting because I don’t vote and don’t care.
But why on earth is anyone surprised? Texas is officially 37% White. That “nonHispanic White” includes the jews and all the Iranians and Arabs – and there are a ton. Not to mention Vietnamese and various Chinese, and lots and lots of pajeets. Population replacement works. And when repukes go out of their way to avoid representing White people, you get lots of black and brown and yellow candidates. Plus women voting their feelings. Plus 50 years of government schools teaching Whites are bad. Plus all the t.v., movies, and social media. I’m shocked so many people are shocked.
Yeah, people are pissed about prices, but underneath it all that is NOT why the repukes lost. No one dares mention race, but Lee Kuan Yew was right, and the Fox News watching boomers still don’t get it.
And my prediction? Most White people will STILL go out of their way to avoid noticing. They’ll claim the results were about prices and policies, and avoid noticing PEOPLE. This will continue until their grandkid is one of two Whites in a classroom and they’ll crow about how diverse his school is.
Don’t expect ‘better’ in the short term. Not even in the longer term. Expect the suck to grow.
