2 men arrested after 12 people wounded in Georgia park mass shooting
The shooting took place at a park in Macon, Georgia which is not coincidentally 54% black although it is unusual in that the population of Whites is increasing in the city….
How many cities anywhere in the country have a growing White population, although Macon is technically a “consolidated city-county” with much of the area unincorporated Bibb County so I am guessing that accounts for the sudden increase in Whites who are in the outlying county, not in Macon proper. The city itself apparently had the highest crime rate in the state of Georgia in 2023.
Anyhoo, the shooting happened at a park in a very typical manner.
The shooting was reported shortly after midnight Sunday near the park’s skatepark. Investigators said one group was attending a party when another group arrived across the street. The groups exchanged words, displayed guns and began shooting at each other.
A total of 12 people between the ages of 17 and 19 were wounded. Two were listed in critical but stable condition, while the others were stable, according to the sheriff’s office.
The gathering had moved to the park after the group was asked to leave an Airbnb in Jones County, Bibb County Sheriff David Davis previously said.
Watch for the family members to sue Airbnb for not letting these little rapscallions party at the rental house, thus landing them in a park where the shooting happened.
I can reasonably piece together what happened. The first group rented the Airbnb, immediately started making a ruckus so someone reported them (I read elsewhere they were flashing guns and that led to their dismissal), they were kicked out of the place and went to a park where they promptly notified the world via TikTok or Instagram so the rival group showed up to rumble. I love the way they put it: “The groups exchanged words, displayed guns and began shooting at each other”. That is so perfectly 2G.

Investigators identified David Pitts, 24, and Jaquez Bailey, 20, as suspects in the shooting at Carolyn Crayton Park. Deputies arrested both men Monday while serving search and arrest warrants with help from local and federal law enforcement agencies.
Pitts is charged with 12 counts of aggravated assault as a party to a crime, meaning investigators accuse him of participating in the offenses. Bailey is charged with 12 counts of aggravated assault.
20 and 24 year old “adults” out raising a ruckus with teenagers and shooting into a crowd. What upstanding citizens, I am sure they don’t already have rap sheets or anything. No mugshots yet as Bibb County doesn’t provide them but they are both listed as black. Some other fun names from the recently booked in Bibb County….

12 people shot in a single incident is a mass shooting however you slice it but some well meaning but mistaken 2A guys will argue it wasn’t a “real mass shooting” because it was gang violence, and all that does is bolster the claim that more Whites are mass shooters despite the vast majority of mass shootings being carried out by blacks.
Still, we move into October in a couple of days so the weather is getting colder and that brings the number of mass shootings down in a typical year. As of today there have been “only” 354 mass shootings so we are on pace for one of the lowest years since the George Floyd (pbuh) Summer of Love, even though there were 10 mass shootings over the prior weekend including this one and a very solid 3 dead, 4 wounded shooting at an “after hours strip club” in Detroit and if the phrase “after hours strip club in Detroit” doesn’t make you shudder and slightly nauseous, you aren’t paying attention. From what I have read, the shooting stemmed from a fight over a cell phone. Really.
The only real downside from this story is that 12 blacks were shot and all of them are expected to survive.

The problem with 2g shooting skills is two fold. First they never seem to kill each other just wound lots of ghetto rats. Second if a group of citizens was to ambush a pack of ferals the cops would instantly look at whites if the fatality rate among those shot was over 5%.
