I have been reliably informed, for decades mind you, that the brown horde flooding across the U.S. southern border from Meh-hee-ko and points south is not a bad thing at all and in fact is a good thing because these fine folks are “natural conservatives” who “share our Judeo-Christian values” and revere family and hard work. That might have been true for some first generation “immigrants” (spoiler, it wasn’t) but the longer they live here, the more they seem to be adopting America’s increasing secularization.
Young Latinos are abandoning organized religion at a faster rate than any other demographic in the United States, a new Axios analysis finds.
Why it matters: The declining religious affiliation of Latinos ages 18 to 29 — particularly among Catholics — is challenging long-held assumptions that their explosive growth would boost traditional religious values in American culture.
Some of the biggest cheerleaders/traitors for mass immigration have been Christian churches/parachurch “ministries”, especially the Catholic church or at least loosely affiliated organizations that might be run by Catholics or by Chosen People. Finding evangelization of existing Americans to be just too hard, they figured it would just be easier to import millions of new parishioners. It is sort of a religious version of the Democrat party playbook.
While the overwhelming majority of mestizos are still at least culturally Christians, the trend lines are pretty ominous especially for Catholicism….
Hispanics make up about 15% of the U.S. population. The percentage of Hispanic Americans identifying as religiously unaffiliated rose steadily from 18% in 2013 to 23% in 2025, according to an Axios review of the latest data from the nonpartisan Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI)….
….Among Catholic Latinos, the declines were historic. An Axios review of Pew Research Center data found that the share of Latino adults identifying as Catholic plummeted from 67% in 2010 to 43% in 2022.
Meanwhile, the percentage of Latinos in U.S. Protestant churches has remained relatively stable — roughly 21% since 2010.
It is worth repeating that in my studies, not only are mestizos vastly more likely to vote Democrat, they are also far more radically leftist than blacks. This is going to have a seismic impact on the Democrat Party that is already careening headlong to the Left and is quickly swapping blacks as their favorite minority with mestizos, causing a ruckus in the party as the party moves to put mestizo-dominant Nevada first on the primary calendar, supplanting black dominated South Carolina: Black [sic] Dems Up In Arms As Party Considers Giving Nevada First 2028 Primary
There is no reason to think this trend toward secularization is likely to change in the future, if anything it will be likely to increase.
Sorry fellas but that evangelization strategy doesn’t seem to be working and also to the “conservatives” who claimed that mestizo immigrants would become natural allies? Told ya so.
Thing about this is that for Catholics, they don’t pay the bills. I’ve been in two parishes with large Hispanic and African groups. Donating isn’t their things. They don’t understand that the electric, water, programs, all of it are paid for by donations.
That is mentioned in the article, there isn’t enough money to keep the doors opens and the lights on.
I don’t know if it would make a difference towards stopping the bleed out or not at this point, but the hierarchy of the Catholic Church has strayed so far from scriptural soundness by liberalizing it’s message and positions, that it has driven many of it’s adherents away. Especially men. It isn’t as far down the shitter of feminized faggotry as the Episcopalians yet, but it’s working on getting there. As long as that’s the case, it’s influence on the morality of society will continue to decline.

Yup. It started in the 1960s with Vatican II. And to be blunt, Mother Church’s bottom line was shrinking, along with vocations to the priesthood, nuns, and brothers. So instead of reinforcing tradition, the Vatican closet Freemasons and later the Lavender Mafia decided to turn the altars around, speak the vernacular at Mass and have guitars and dancing nuns. Being raised a mackerel snapper and a product of Catholic School from grade 3 through grade 12, I saw it all. I graduated HS in 1965 and watched the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass turn into a fake and gay clown show.
The material benefit of legions of wetbacks coming into SoCal did not add much to Rome’s bottom line. That situation coupled with the pedophile lawsuit payouts have bankrupted Archdioceses across America’s fruited plain. I could go on and on, but you all know the story. Sad and pathetic.
I would say it started far earlier than that, thinking more like pre-1517, but then again I was a Protestant of the frothing at the mouth Reformed variety for a long time.

It’s a very long way to get back to that sort of masculine mindset on a large enough scale to repeat anything like what was achieved during the crusades. But God knows, that’s what we need.
Interesting that the article says young people are leaving the Catholic church. But, in the trad movement, supporting the Latin Mass, it is the young people who are filling the pews.
I guess if you do not challenge young people with True Faith, then there is no point in them sticking around for sappy, banal liturgy and a religion where there are no ‘real’ rules, when they could just as well to something else with their Sundays.
I have personal experience that the religious instruction of Latinos is in the toilet. They basically go through the motions for the sacraments up to Confirmation because their abuela insists on it. The senoritas check out right after their quincianera up until their marriage, then they just don’t come back.
