State police seize nearly 400 pounds of cocaine after stopping semi driver on I-70 in Putnam County
400 pounds of coke? That is a lot of nose candy, like Tony Montana levels. It is reportedly worth around $9 million.
A semi driver hauling nearly 400 pounds of cocaine was apprehended by Indiana State Police in Putnam County on Monday.
According to a release, troopers conducted a traffic stop with a commercial tractor and trailer on Interstate 70 eastbound near Cloverdale. Police initiated the traffic stop because the semi driver was speeding.
According to ISP, troopers observed “multiple criminal indicators suggesting the driver was operating below industry standards” during the stop. Police subsequently requested and received permission to search the commercial vehicle. During that search, troopers found 178 kilograms — or about 392 pounds — of a substance suspected to be cocaine.

ISP arrested the semi driver, 27-year-old Harmandeep Singh of Bakersfield, California, during the stop.

Did you ever notice how many POC are stopped for speeding while carrying large amounts of contraband? They catch them all the time on I-10 in Texas. You can’t be too smart hauling a load of dope and trying to stand out for the cops at the same time.

Our old 2018 RAV4s said no, the 2020 RAV4 says it’s okay. The 2017 4runner says no. Anyhow, there are tons of locations where we live that sell ethanol-free (for the zero turn, the side by side, etc.) and which we now will buy for the vehicles. For those who unfortunates who still live in/near big metropolitan areas, you can find the closest location selling ethanol-free gas at the website pure-gas.org.
