9 people injured after mass shooting at Cincinnati music venue
Riverfront Live, a 16-and-over music venue in the East End, was hosting a birthday party that began at 10 p.m. Saturday, according to an Instagram post from DJ Fresh.
Antoinette Coates says her 35-year-old son is among the victims injured in the shooting. She said her son was shot four times, but he is expected to be okay….
…A man, who asked to remain anonymous, said he witnessed a person on the floor involved in an altercation with four to five people before that person was “knocked unconscious.”
The witness said 10 to 15 minutes after that incident, he saw “three dudes came from the back and shoot the club up and ran out the way they came in.”
Police have not confirmed whether the shooting is connected to that altercation or to the party at Riverfront Live.

I assume its called a music venue so they can have under 18’s because bars usually cant admit under 18’s here (legal age).

I drove past there this morning & had no idea what happened Saturday night. There’s a flea market adjacent to the building & people already hitting the booths at 7:30 a.m. It use to be a respectable night club known as “The Black Stallion” with one of the best pool rooms in the city & a classy looking bar. You’d usually have to wait to get a table to play. There were dudes in there shooting for hundreds of dollars per game! Spent a few Saturday nights there back in the early 70’s till it closed around 1980. Some damn good looking women use to frequent the place, too.
By the way, this is the 2nd incident to happen there in the past 10 years. The last one had a body count & the perp left the pistol on the floor. Usual suspects. Grew up a couple miles east of there off of US 52 aka Kellogg Ave. Remember Old Coney & River Downs & even watching the Reds play, yes at Crosley Field
