Five people, including a six-year-old, were shot at a Mardi Gras parade in Clinton Saturday.
East Feliciana Parish Sheriff Jeff Travis told WAFB reporter Chris Nakamoto that the parade had just started to roll when the gunfire broke out….
….“The parade did not get to Main Street before shots were fired,” Sheriff Travis explained. “We had a lot of people here, a lot of law enforcement agencies here helping with the parade. There’s still a whole lot that we don’t know. There’s a lot of moving parts.”
Three suspects were taken into custody, the sheriff said.
Clinton, Louisiana is a tiny little town of just over 1,300 people but like so many small southern towns….
….it is very “diverse”.
It’s pretty cold in Louisiana, as of right now the temperature is a balmy 37. While 37 would be a huge improvement where I am, that is pretty damn cold for Louisiana but it isn’t stopping the homies from shooting into crowds.
You can’t even have a parade in a town of fewer than fifteen hundred people without the 2Gs popping off rounds.

Also – it’s Louisiana – lots of “Black” is creole – that can be a factor. Lots of them are “Damn near white” as the title of a recent creole author memoir has it.
The next town over from us has 10k population, in the last 5 years the turdeau libs have dumped 500+ refugees in the town. Now they have a crime problem, they have robberies, car theft and 2 attempted abductions of kids. All the refugees have been. Haitian, african muslims and Ukranians plus som uke roma to help speed up the crime.
I shop at the sobeys over the Wally wort, as prices are 5% more but no new arrivals. I had to go get toothpaste at wally world as sobeys was out of my brand. The obese women walking down an aisle was african with head bag and yoga pants, 2 daughters and a husband who had a switch blade on his belt. Switch blades are illegal. Her yoga pants had a brown swear up the crack and she was fondling produce.

Not a chance. Most of rural America is in the “good tacos” phase. The runaway farm implements terrorizing the cities and spilling into the flyover are already outnumbered by the Mexicans. Churchians love Mexicans. Whatever rises will be made of corn and beans and the sounds of Oompa Loompa at 3am will ring out as all the civnats slumber.
