That Doesn’t Sound Like A Chinaman?

It was a story that sort of blipped by most of the news but really shouldn’t have been. Instead the news has been focused on Savannah Guthrie’s mom being kidnapped which is horrible but really is it all that critical to the rest of us?

Another weird illegal biolab in a home, this time in Las Vegas: Over 1,000 samples seized from Las Vegas property connected to illegal biolab owner

Cops supposedly found “over 1,000 samples” of unknown substances. Given the above picture that accompanied the story, and assuming it is not bullshit, that doesn’t seem like something you would normally have in a home. The immediate story was that it was another Chinese linked lab although no one seems to wonder why in the hell the ChiComs would be running these labs in houses in the U.S. instead of in labs in China.

(Clark County Sheriff Kevin) McMahill said the home is owned by a man involved in a 2023 investigation of an illegal biolab in Reedley, Calif. In that instance, the sheriff said investigators found materials “possibly associated” with infectious diseases such as hepatitis, COVID, HIV and malaria.

The owner, Jia Bei Zhu, is already in federal custody. Law enforcement arrested 55-year-old Ori Solomon, who McMahill said is “believed to be the property manager,” over “disposing and discharging hazardous waste.”

Zhu was arrested in 2023 for allegedly “distributing misbranded medical devices” and lying to the United States Food and Drug Administration, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California.

“We’re not prepared to answer whether there’s any connections between that case and our case at this point, but I can promise you that is one of the areas that we are looking at,” McMahill said.

While executing the search warrant, law enforcement found multiple refrigerators, a freezer, “numerous bottles and jugs containing unknown liquid substances” and other “laboratory-type equipment” in the home’s garage, McMahill said.

The recovered items are “consistent” with what was found in the Reedley investigation, McMahill said.

Well that certainly sounds ominous.

To my chagrin I sort of forgot about the story after it hit, lots of other stuff has been on my mind and occupying blog space. Then I saw this morning that the property manager for the Las Vegas location had been arrested but then inexplicable released and let’s just say, he ain’t a chink….

Who is Ori Solomon? Property manager released ahead of trial in Las Vegas illegal biolab case

Ori Solomon you say?

Ori Solomon, the property manager who faces charges in connection with an illegal biolab at a Las Vegas short-term rental, will be released from custody while he awaits trial.

Solomon appeared in federal court on Friday afternoon and was released on his own recognizance, with certain conditions.

He has to surrender any passport, is not allowed to leave the country and must notify the court if he plans to leave Clark County, and must not possess a firearm or any other weapon.

Friday’s hearing focused on federal firearm charges against Solomon. An Israeli citizen in the U.S. on a non-immigrant visa, Solomon is not allowed to possess firearms. Prosecutors say multiple guns were seized from his home, according to an affidavit obtained by Channel 13.

Solomon also faces a criminal charge in Clark County for the improper disposal of hazardous waste.

As Israeli citizen “managing” a property owned by some Chinese dude who already is in prison for running an illegal biolab. The guy is not only not a citizen but he was busted for federal firearms charges and yet he was “released on his own recognizance”? Seriously?

If you got busted for Federal firearms charges or if Da’dingdong in Chicongo was, you wouldn’t be walking out of Federal custody on your own recognizance I am guessing. This guy? He’s an Israeli citizen who not only had multiple illegally owned firearms, he was also running or at least overseeing an illegal biolab and he just strolls out of prison?

What are the odds this guy has another passport and just sashays across the border to Mexico and catches the next first class seat to Tel Aviv?

The plot thickens….

He was released on his own recognizance by one U.S. Magistrate Judge Elayna Youchah. Youchah you say? Grok, what do we know about that surname?

The surname Youchah is most commonly associated with Sephardic Jewish ethnicity, particularly from Ottoman-era communities in the eastern Mediterranean and Balkans…..

….Modern references, such as U.S. individuals (e.g., a judge named Elayna J. Youchah contributing Ottoman Sephardic documents to university collections), further confirm this association.

While not an extremely common surname, its documented bearers and origins point predominantly to Sephardic Jewish ethnicity rather than a broad Arabic or other group.

I didn’t even mention her specifically, just the surname, and yet she comes up.

Here we have an Israeli citizen with a cache of illegal firearms managing a property with a biolab owned by a chink that is already in Federal custody for running a different illegal biolab and despite all of that a Jewish judge lets him walk on his own recognizance, something I am pretty confident she wouldn’t have done for you or me if we were facing Federal gun charges in her court.

That doesn’t seem sketchy at all. Nothing to worry about! Just some good natured ethnic ass covering for a guy running a biolab!
