In the early years of the 20th century the Bolshevik Revolution swept through Russia and replaced the Romanov’s with the Soviet Union. Promising a worker’s paradise where everyone would be equal, the workers soon found their lot in life far worse than before and discovered what would become Orwell’s line years later: all animals are equal but some are more equal than others.
The Bolsheviks relied upon the gullibility of people to believe that they had the interests of the workers first and foremost and then later used terror to keep the workers in line once they realized that they had been played for suckers.
What followed was a nearly 75 year reign of terror. We will never know just how many people were killed, so many just simply disappeared never to be heard from again while entire families and villages were sometimes wiped out. Certainly it was many tens of millions in the Soviet Union and Red China, not to mention smaller communist nations like Vietnam, North Korea, Cambodia, Cuba, etc.
The mass slaughter of civilians was a defining feature of Communism, not a bug, and that was especially true for dissidents. Making an example of a political dissident (and their family) is the best way of ensuring you don’t get many future political dissidents. An actual authoritarian that allows people to speak out against him likely won’t stay in power for long.
That didn’t stop people from protesting and speaking out like Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn who got off lucky by “only” being imprisoned in a gulag and then exiled. He went into the infamous Lubyanka prison and came out alive unlike many others who died in the basement.
Lech Wałęsa and the Polish Solidarity movement stood up to the Communist dictatorship that was running Poland under the control of the Soviets and many were imprisoned or killed. In Czechoslovakia the story was the same after the brutal reaction to crush the Prague Spring in 1968 and also the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Thousands were killed as the Soviets brought the iron fist to crush dissent. In the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, hundreds were killed, thousands injured and hundreds more were arrested or fled China to live in exile. The events were captured in the picture of “Tank Man” who stood in front of ChiCom tanks and refused to move, briefly stopping a column of tanks. His fate and identity are unknown but the image of him in front of those tanks is one of the most powerful from that era of dissent.
These people faced real danger for standing up against real authoritarian regimes.
Then we have modern America and more specifically Minnesota, once again the epicenter of “protests”.
What are these brave “patriots” fighting against? They are protesting against law enforcement enforcing the law, specifically by arresting people who are knowingly in this country illegally.
What most people seem to have already forgotten is that this really started off when ICE and other Federal law enforcement agencies were dispatched to Minneapolis in the wake of the exposure of massive levels of fraud by Somalis that ran into the billions of dollars with a significant percentage of those fraudulently obtained funds being shipped overseas back to Somalia.
In short, most of the Somalis living here are not “refugees”, they are looters who came here to feed from the generous welfare state and to loot the wealth of America in order to send it back to Somalia where it is of course being used to enrich a few Somalis while the rest continue to live in the squalor that is their natural state.
When Renee Good and her “wife” were harassing ICE before Good ran her vehicle into an agent and getting shot for her trouble, they were attempting to impede ICE from arresting illegal aliens. There was nothing noble about her actions, she was aiding and abetting people who were violating U.S. law and because she has watched too many girl-bosses on TV Good thought she could do whatever she wanted without repercussions. Clearly she was wrong.
Since I started writing this post apparently a different commie was shot and killed in Minneapolis, the left is already rioting while reports indicate he was armed and in a “defensive struggle” with Border Patrol agents who were executing a warrant. Details are still sketchy but it sounds like the dead man, a nurse named Alex Jeffrey Pretti, was trying to prevent law enforcement from arresting an illegal named Jose Huerta-Chuma who apparently hits women or something similarly charming. We have come a long way since #MeToo.
On and off, and back on again tonight in Minneapolis, hordes of sheep are “protesting”. They don’t know exactly what they are “protesting” nor why, nor do they understand that they are doing the bidding of people who will applaud them in public, mock them behind closed doors and cheerfully order bullets in their heads once they cease to be useful idiots and revert back to being just idiots.
They think they are fighting the power or some other nonsense when in fact they are serving the powers that be. You think Trump is in charge of this country? The same guy that can’t do anything because some random judge will stop him with an injunction over and over?

Even though I’ve been banned from commenting there for years, I still skim Amren posts. There was one today about financial cuts ‘harming immigrant communities’ – as if I give a f**k. One loser left a comment noting all his/her kids’ playmates were immigrants living in subsidized housing. So why the f**k is he/she commenting at Amren? I am not going to be in the vanguard of any counter-revolution; I’m an old lady with no military background, and I know I cannot effect any meaningful change anywhere . . . except in my own behavior. So I go out of my way to be kind and friendly and helpful with all the heritage White people I am currently privileged to live amongst, just as I went out of my way to be cold and distant with all the aliens we used to be stuck amongst back in what used to be known as Texas.
It really isn’t rocket science. As the acronym goes, TINVOOOT. Going postal and becoming a martyr doesn’t inspire anyone. But we can all do simple things like: Do not smile at the aliens. Don’t help them in the grocery store. Don’t feel sorry for their kids, who are here to replace yours. Don’t donate to any charity that gives to ‘the needy’ indiscriminately (I gave nothing but a smile to the Salvation Army bell ringers, but I paid for Thanksgiving baskets for a dozen local families this year, and gave cash to a local butcher who provided needy local families a dozen hams for Christmas). Don’t let your kids play with theirs. Don’t pay for their school supplies. Don’t patronize any business they set up.
All these things make a substantive difference, and if we all practiced them they’d be noticed. It’s a lot more effective than just whining online, but that’s what people prefer to do. So guys, go to the store with your wives and keep them in line. Find a line with a White cashier (unpierced and untatted) and wait patiently. Thank them when it’s your turn to checkout. Smile at any young White children, and glare (no need to speak) at the yellow and brown ones. It is definitely noticed by those you want to make feel unwelcome.

One of my trips to Hawaii for work years ago I took some free time to explore. Went to a beautiful off the beaten path beach. No tourists. Just “locals”. None of those locals said anything to me. But inside of 15 minutes, from the parking area to scoping out the beach, I knew that I should not even get my surfboard out of the car and I left. What black magic is that?

No clue – happened years ago. Maybe I was too blunt about the small hats? It’s been since before the covid hysteria that I was able to comment – perhaps a couple of years before that, even. I don’t even try to comment at most places, and I’m not logged into Disqus anymore so I can’t/don’t even upvote or downvote things. No great loss. If I understand correctly Walz calling out the National Guard in response to protestors threatening the federal facility blocks one of the predicates for invoking the Insurrection Act — and is probably the only reason he did it.

You can fight with them about due process and waste your time, or remind them these people are not US Citizens, and do not get the same rights citizens do.
