It’s about 13 here and only briefly stopped snowing for about an hour late morning, since it began last night. Maybe 6-8 inches out there? Pure powder. I went out to sweep off the porch and get more wood an hour ago, and it’s already coated again. Expect about 14″ before it stops sometime tomorrow. No issues though – wood stove is blazing, plenty of kindling and firewood, plenty of food, generac, etc. I see YT posts and comments about all these locales being out of all propane, and I wonder if I’m the only one who fills her tank (1000 gallons) at the low summer rates. Not to mention the 1, 20, and 30 gallon tanks up in the garage. I guess thinking ahead like that makes me some kind of ‘doomsday prepper’ – I just call it common sense. Stay warm, fellow notsees!

The snow came overnight. At least half a foot. Wore the wrong low cut shoes on AM walk and got snow in there, will wear boots for the after lunch hike.

The icy road sensor came on in car for the first time, got stuck in grocery parking lot, got the last milk and the bread aisle is gone, got stuck at intersection and coming into subdivision sector.
I put in reverse and make my own path or be stuck out there all day.
