To follow-up on my post yesterday, Tinfoil Hat Time!, that suggested perhaps the sudden interest in rampant Somali fraud was intended to distract from the woes of Israeli support in America….
I read this story late last night, “Quality Learing Center” First Domino To Fall As Somali-Linked Minneapolis Daycare Scandal Shocks Nation, and something caught my eye. The story is an update to the ongoing coverage with the Feds finally showing up and arresting a few people but the real gem for me was this part:
While allegations of Somali-linked welfare fraud in left-wing-controlled Minnesota have been known for years, the timing of Nick Shirley’s bombshell investigation suggests the federal government needed positive sentiment in the news cycle to begin the action phase on the ground. That’s usually how these types of operations work.
Huh, Somali fraud in Minnesota has been “known for years” but all of a sudden is at the top of the news cycle.
As an aside, I really thought his last name was spelled “Sherley” rather than “Shirley”. I saw it spelled that way in a tweet and ran with it. My mistake.
So….this fraud has been a poorly kept secret for some years but no one did anything about it and in fact Tampon Tim “I’m not a retard” Walz kept throwing money down this rat hole. Then it magically hit the news cycle. Of course Walz is claiming that White people wondering why their tax dollars are being quite literally stolen by Somalis is “no longer hiding the idea of White supremacy”….
Yes Timmy, expecting oversight of the tax dollars harvested from White people who work for a living and demanding accountability for criminal behavior is the very embodiment of White supremacy. He makes the case for White supremacy better than I ever could.
Other reports are coming out of suspected industrial scale fraud in other Somali communities like Columbus, Ohio.

Something I have Noticed™ and found highly amusing is that some of the angriest people about Somali fraud are American blacks. They seem pissed that Somalis, mestizos, pajeets and others are getting in on what they see as their fraud racket. It just happens to be nearly ubiquitous in the Somali “community”. Show me more than zero Somalis and you will likely find fraud.
I just found it interesting to read that this fraud has been known for some time but just now is coming to light. Make of that what you will.
I think those of us of the mindset to frequent dissident blogs like this were all pretty well aware of how the “news” is used to manipulate public sentiment. At the local news level, probably 50% of the content is straight propaganda. At the national network/cable level probably over 75%.
Certainly, some stories are held “in reserve” and then strategically “broken” as a means of managing a narrative and deflecting attention away from something the system doesn’t want people noticing/discussing/getting pissed off over. Other times they lean into a story with incessant wall to wall coverage (COVID, anyone?) to inculcate FUD and invoke mass panic, which can be leveraged quite effectively to control the public at large.
I’d guess the timing of this story hitting the. It time was chosen to cover either imminent war actions against Venezuela, something about to break WRT Ukraine, or some imminent financial crisis, possibly related to PM’s and their pricing having a sudden deleterious effects on one or more big banks.
I’ve often half-joked that if I had a time machine, I’d go back and kill every sonofabitch who had a hand in the intention of TV. It has been a boon for governments and bullshit artists (though I repeat myself) and a massive detriment to the masses, who have predictably been lulled into endless and mindless passivity by the idiot box. Smart phones have become a natural extension of that, albeit with even greater capacity to damage minds.
OT: anyone have any updates on Big Country Expat? Has been no word I’ve seen on him (not even at Coldfury) since the last quick post here (and a similar brief mention at WRSA about the same time) several days ago. Comments on his last post appear to have auto closed in the last 24 hours, as I think all his posts have a set time limit in which commenting is allowed. Which is to say I don’t think the comments were closed manually by administrative action on his site, so presumably he hasn’t logged into it recently.

The fact that he is doing the reporting on what now appears to be a decade old scam, and right now of all times, seems to support that idea. He may be legit, but the mere fact this story took 10 years to blow wide open stinks like last week’s tuna salad.
