Scooter tracks in the snow lead to Richmond stabbing arrest
As the police in Richmond, Indiana say: “…snow is not your friend when you commit a crime”.
Officers were called around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday to a reported stabbing in the 1400 block of S. 16th Street. Upon arrival, they found an adult victim suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.
While detectives executed a search warrant at a nearby home, patrol officers searched the surrounding area. In the fresh snow, they found a “clear set of scooter tracks leaving the scene.”
Officers followed the tracks for several blocks to the 300 block of S. 10th Street, where they found Mario Holsinger. The 59-year-old Holsinger was identified as a suspect and taken into custody.

Gunman fell off scooter, shot victim who recorded him on the ground: prosecutors

A man who fell off his scooter in a Near North Side parking lot shot another man who recorded him lying on the ground, prosecutors said.
Michael J. Jones, 40, has been ordered detained on charges of aggravated battery by discharging a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm for the July 11 shooting in the 500 block of West Scott Street.
Prosecutors said the 41-year-old victim had just returned home from a construction job around 9:20 p.m. and was sitting in his car texting a coworker about the next day’s schedule when Jones rode a black scooter through the parking lot, crashed, and fell. The victim used his phone to record a short clip of Jones on the pavement.
Jones then got up, parked his scooter near the car, walked toward a grassy area, and returned holding a gun, according to prosecutors. Surveillance video allegedly showed Jones walking up to the driver’s side, standing beside the door, and firing two shots downward toward the victim’s lap. He then moved to the back of the car and fired several more rounds as he walked away, prosecutors said.
The victim, who was armed, returned fire from inside the vehicle and again after opening the door as Jones fled. He called 911 and was found on the pavement next to his car with gunshot wounds to his thigh, calf, and scrotum, according to court filings.

Jones told cops he carried a gun because he lives in a dangerous neighborhood, what he failed to realize is that his neighborhood is dangerous because he and people like him live there.
Maybe scooters aren’t the best mode of transportation for 2Gs?

I am not sure what exactly they mean by a scooter. Are they talking about a moped? Or one of these battery powered things that looks like a child’s scooter only a little bigger ?
In any case, along the lines of what Bob said above: Mopeds (and scooters) are like fat girls. They’re kind of fun, but you wouldn’t want your friends to see you on one.
worked in the ER back in the early 1990’s. West Philly. anyway, there was a bunch of shooting of 2 Gs all about 6 foot
and 180-200 pounds and under 25. yeah, like 6-7 of them inside of a 2 week span. one guy was really hit well.
depending on your point of view. yup, one round thru his dick. he was freaking the hell out. we had to check to see if
his “piss pipe” was intact (x-ray scan with contrast) he freaked out even more when the “doc” put the tip against “him”
started fighting back. I had to tell him, “hey, you either let the Doc do the test or other docs are going to cut it off below/above the bullet wound” . he gave in and let them do the test. he was “intact” as they say.
about a week later, we had another one come in, THIS time, the cops had the “shooter” in tow.
seems he lost his girlfriend to a guy like above and wanted to get even. even the cops said his aim was getting better before he got caught. never followed on it, so I have no idea what happened afterwards
but yeah, if you want to really hurt one of them, shoot them in the dick area. 22s can sure do a lot of damage in that area and still keep the victim alive. funny, now isn’t it ?
