Last night after I set the prior post to publish this morning, I saw this story on Fox News:
Chechen leader threatens Zelenskyy amid drone strike, echoes alleged assassination plot
I have never met a real live Chechen but they strike me as kinda crazy and the sort of people I would take a threat from very seriously.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov’s threats against Ukraine following a drone strike echo a 2022 plot to infiltrate Kyiv and target President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a former Ukrainian government official has said.
The leader’s latest threat came after a Ukrainian drone reportedly struck a high-rise building near Kadyrov’s home in Grozny on Nov. 5.
The strike prompted the Chechen strongman to vow retaliation in an online video post, according to Reuters.
“This new threat would just be another assassination threat for Zelenskyy. The Chechens are really serious about revenge,” a former government official told Fox News Digital.

Let’s hope that is true. Zelensky is said to not be scared this time, unlike the last time when he was apparently wetting his neatly pressed Army boy pants.
“These days, Zelenskyy isn’t afraid of Kadyrov’s actions against him or the Ukrainian people. Zelenskyy is feeling very powerful right now,” they added.
He is feeling very powerful? What a fag. It wouldn’t surprise me if his security forces “accidentally” let a Chechen hit squad walk right past them in order to be rid of the little dictator.
It would be a great Christmas present to the world to see that little olive drab shirted prick get popped. Of course there is an entire list of asshole wankers I could say the very same for. But this corrupt, arrogant, diminutive shitstain is particularly deserving, especially since it would deny him the pleasure of enjoying the fruits of his scheming. I’d still like to see his booger sugar get cut with some polonium by the FSB, to be honest. But I’ll happily settle for a Chechen operative with brass balls to do the job up close and personal, too.
I think it is interesting the Russians haven’t whacked him, I assume he is more useful to them alive than dead.
I tend to agree with you on that point. One thing the Russians have proved over the years is that they are very good at assassinations. I figured that if Putin wanted him dead, he would be dead. Why he wants him alive, who knows?
Because Russia doesn’t just want to win, they want to humiliate the West.
I think Russia is simply taking advantage of the fact he’s such an unlikable bastard. If they wack him now, Ukraine could end up with a new leader who gains more sympathy on the world stage, and might improve their negotiating position (even if only marginally) versus Russia, when it’s finally time to sit down and hammer out the details. As it stands, even the countries “supporting” Ukraine are clearly sick of this little bastard.
All I know is that if he walks away clean and gets to live in the lap of luxury at OUR expense, I’m going to be pissed. And to be clear, all the “leadership” within the US and Europe who consorted with this guy, and materially benefitted from the arrangement, should meet the same fate that I hope he does. Even if dozens of high profile bodies turned up in such fashion, nothing of value would be lost. Culpability for demographically and economically ruining an entire country falls firmly upon those who insisted – even now – on carrying out this stupidly expensive and clearly unwinnable war with Russia.

I share the view that Zelensky is of more value to the Russians at the moment alive than he is dead. I suppose the same could be said regarding Zelensky’s current value to Izreel, the CIA and the rest of the deep state’s factions and wholly owned subsidiaries.

Setting up a backstory of him pissing off the Chechens will be very convenient for when everyone is ready to be rid of him. Everyone from Putin to Trump will be able to just shrug and walk away.
