Man charged in Jackson mass shooting calling for release after not receiving preliminary hearing
A fella going by Marquavius McLeod (no relation to Connor or Duncan) killed one person and injured seven others last March, amusingly after a “St. Paddy’s Parade” in Jackson, Mississippi. Anyway, Marquavius is big mad because he done been denied his Constitutional rights and sheeiit…
“I have been held in custody for approximately 9/10 months without indictment, without the presentation of any evidence against me, and without being afforded a preliminary hearing,” he wrote.
“To date, I have not been informed of any lawful jurisdiction for this prolonged detention. The United States Constitution guarantees the right to due process of law, including the right to a timely indictment, the right to a preliminary hearing, and the right to be informed of the nature and cause of any accusations,” he added. “My continued incarceration without these protections constitutes a serious violation of my rights.”
That sounds exactly like the sort of thing written by this guy….
There is a copy of a hand written note that Marquavius McLeod of the Klan McLeod clearly copied from something his lawyer wrote up, and he still made spelling errors.
According to other stories, he has 3 kids who are now going to grow up like most black kids, with their dad in jail (assuming they even know his name). Three more perpetual dependents on the system until they too end up in prison.
The guy does have a point, he should have been tried, found guilty and promptly hung months ago….

I am trying to figure out how a murdering shitbird 2G like this ended up with a respectable Scottish last name like McCleod. Only two ways I can think of. Either his mother was a mudshark with that name. Or he or one of his ancestors simply appropriated (ie – stole) the name.
Regardless, where he is headed he won’t be producing any more progeny. As for the three he already produced, with a little bit of luck maybe they will all end up in the slammer (or in the ground) before they can produce any.
I assume his family at some point was maybe owned by a family named McLeod?
