Manufacturing Discontent

Back in 1988 a Jewish linguist/Bolshevik named Noam Chomsky authored a book titled Manufacturing Consent along with a different, less well known Jewish Bolshevik named Edward Herman. From Wikipedia:

It argues that the mass communication media of the U.S. “are effective and powerful ideological institutions that carry out a system-supportive propaganda function, by reliance on market forces, internalized assumptions, and self-censorship, and without overt coercion”, by means of the propaganda model of communication.

It was all in vogue when I was in college among the poli sci faculty types and was required reading for one of my classes. Spoiler alert, I didn’t read even a single page.

There is some truth to the premise. The media in America serves the same basic function that party organs like Pravda did in the Soviet Union: they repeat and reinforce the dogma of the ruling class. Where Chomsky widely misses the mark is that he thinks that the problem are corporations when in fact all of the big power centers, from Big Government to Big Business, Big Media to Big Religion, all share a common ideological foundation that is uncomfortably similar to his own: far Left, anti-White, anti-West, Jewish.

Something I saw the other day reminded me of that book. It was an odd place for an idea but that is how a surprising number of my posts start, I am looking at one thing and see something completely different that catches my eye. In this case it was the story of a prisoner who was shot and killed inside of an Illinois federal prison. The man’s name was Dwayne Tottleben and he was a White guy in for selling meth. Still no word as to what happened, if a prisoner somehow obtained a gun or if he was shot by a guard.

What caught my attention was way down at the bottom where the authors of the piece were listed:

Notice the first person listed, Erik Ortiz. He is described as….

Erik Ortiz is a senior reporter for NBC News Digital focusing on racial injustice and social inequality.

That is an interesting job description.

Erik’s job is to focus on “racial injustice” and “social inequality”. Imagine if Erik walked into his editor’s office and said:

“Boss, I just didn’t find any example of racial injustice worth writing about this week”

You can be sure ol’ Erik would be told, in no uncertain terms, that he better find some examples of racial injustice and/or social inequality to write about or he would be looking for another job.

Erik Ortiz is hardly an outlier by having a job that specifically focuses on racial grievances, real and mostly imagined. Many news outlets have staff with a similar focus or they publish independent writers that do the same thing. I am also not specifically accusing Erik of anything but after all his job is to find, write about and file stories on “racial injustice” and “social inequality”. Like a beat reporter trying to make a city council meeting sound more interesting than it was or a sports reporter tasked with writing highlights about a 1-0 snoozefest baseball game, a reporter tasked with writing about “racial injustice” and “social inequality” is going to do his best to make stories seem urgent and important. Otherwise why employ him?

It is an important distinction. It isn’t a matter of writing news stories and noting any “racial injustice” and “social inequality”. Rather his job is to “focus” on “racial injustice” and “social inequality”. Multiple Erik Ortiz by hundreds or maybe thousands and you get the steady firehose of stories that focus on “racial injustice” and “social inequality”.

This helps to explain why “racial injustice” and “social inequality” is considered to be such a major problem. Any time anything doesn’t go the way of a black or mestizo, or Asian or Jew for that matter, it is chalked up to “racial injustice”. As for “social inequality”? That has been around since there have been humans in any sort of social situation. In ancient civilizations there were social strata with royalty and priests at the top and lots of peasants at the bottom just above slaves. There has never been a time in any human society at any time in human history that there wasn’t “social inequality”.

What really grinds my gears is that at no time in human history has there been less “social inequality” and “racial injustice” than in this country, although that has changed largely due to the same people who bitch about “racial injustice” and “social inequality”. A black person in America has opportunities that are unlimited except by their own ability. If you are black, moderately intelligent and have any sort of work ethic at all you can get into the very best colleges and universities in America, strutting through doors that are shut to far more qualified White and Asian students. If they put in some effort while in college they can be admitted to elite medical schools, be pushed through the program and dubbed “Dr.” all with far less work and dedication than Whites and Asians.

If there truly is any “social inequality” and “racial injustice” it is directed at White people who have to work much harder and who suffer actual discrimination for being White but are also not supposed to say anything or even notice.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for Erik Ortiz and his fellow race hustling “journalists” to write about that….

The practical impact of “journalism” that specifically focuses on (mostly imaginary) “social inequality” and “racial injustice” is that the people with the least discernment and a near total lack of critical thinking skills are flooded with a constant barrage of manufactured outrage and discontent that foments and inflames racial animus towards Whites. This has been and continues to be manifested in tangible ways via black racially motivated violence toward Whites to the point that no matter how egregious the act you will readily find blacks who will excuse any violence as long as the violence is directed at Whites.

What is more, this is getting worse rather than better, even as black and mestizo opportunities increase. Thus the focus has moved entirely from “equality”, meaning an equal opportunity for everyone regardless of race, to “equity”, an unachievable goal where any black person making a dollar a year less than a White person is somehow being oppressed and discriminated against.

It should be apparent that when reporters are “focusing on racial injustice and social inequality”, they are not interested in solutions but instead on prolonging and exaggerating the issues in order to generate clicks. Whether they are doing so consciously in order to enflame racial resentment and hatred or whether the manufactured discontent isn’t even apparent to them is not a question I can answer although as you can guess I have my suspicions.

What I can say is that “race relations” in America that seemed to be improving in the 1990s and 2000s took a nose dive when the Divider-In-Chief Barack Hussein Obama and his husband moved into the White House. “Race relations” have been in a free-fall ever since, accelerating with the manufactured outrage over George Floyd.

Between pop culture endlessly enflaming tensions, the media manufacturing discontent and the public “education” system spending 12 or more years telling non-White students they are oppressed and White students that they are to blame, we are well past the point where the rift can be repaired. I am more convinced than ever that we are already in the midst of a slow burning race war, one where only one side is not supposed to notice, and that that race war is heading inexorably toward a massive escalation.

The various races were never going to “just get along” but the uneasy truce that existed for much of the post-Civil War era was the best one could expect in a multi-racial society with one race as a supermajority. As we are already in a state where Whites are now numerically a minority in the very country we built, coupled with the endless manufactured outrage and discontent, it is inevitable that this will eventually reach a tipping point that will make the race riots of the 1960s look like child’s play.

What is stopping it from happening now is that a) too many Whites have too much to lose, or at least they think they do and b) there is still that “thin blue line” that if we are being honest is doing more to protect blacks from Whites than it is protecting Whites from blacks. I won’t give any examples and I would ask you to refrain from any specifics in the comments but just think for a moment what you would consider doing if you could get away with it.

There is no sign that the self-appointed cultural and political elites have any interest in pulling us back from the brink. Far from it, as the old guard in the Democrat party withers away and old school race hustlers like Frederica Wilson, Maxine Waters and Al Green get older and die off, they are being replaced by far more militant types such as Ilhan (Ilham) Abdullahi Omar and Jasmine “Jizzmine” Crockett. Jizzmine is only 44 and Omar just turned 43. Both of them and many like them are nasty pieces of work, angry and full of violent rhetoric. They feel, and not without some justification, that they can continue to inflame racial tensions as an electoral strategy without repercussions.

Trying to make equal that which is inherently unequal doesn’t make it so but it does make resentment into a festering boil. That boil is about to burst and when it does people like Erik Ortiz, his ilk and their paymasters will have a bill that is coming due.
