Crocheting prodigy celebrated on ‘GMA’ now accused of child sex abuse, false imprisonment
A crocheting prodigy who was once celebrated on “Good Morning America” has been busted for allegedly having sex with a child, according to authorities.
Jonah Larson, 17, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly having sex with someone under 16 with the use of force and for false imprisonment, according to online jail records, the La Crosse Tribune reported without further detail on exactly what he is accused of.
Larson captured national attention at age 15 when he amassed over 386,000 Instagram followers on an account for his crocheting business, “Jonah’s Hands,” according to a “Good Morning America” feature hailing him as a prodigy and a rising philanthropist.
He began learning the craft at just five years old by watching YouTube videos, according to the feature.
The teen’s business supports education initiatives in Ethiopia, where he was born, the outlet reported.
Didn’t take him long to go from Crocheting Prodigy to Yet Another Immigrant Sexual Deviant. Having sex with someone under 16 “with the use of force and for false imprisonment” sounds a lot like rape to me but they couch it in legalese for whatever reason. I figured when it said he was born in Ethiopia and he had a name like Jonah Larson that he was likely adopted by some do-gooder White people and sure enough. This kid won the lottery in life, leaving an Ethiopian orphanage and being adopted by what appears to be a nice White family in America but as is so often the case with black children adopted by Whites, it eventually imploded and he returned to type.
Not every or even necessarily most African children adopted from Haiti or Ethiopia or wherever turn out this way but a lot seem to. Trying to “rescue” an African kid from some orphanage funded by different White do-gooders isn’t like getting a puppy from an animal rescue group. Now the rest of us have to pay for this kid while he is in prison and if he is raping/molesting children already, what will he be like after a few years in the joint? I am sure he will be popular when it is discovered he is famous for crocheting scarves.

My (never visited) uber-Leftard relations in CA married off their platinum White/nearly transparently porcelain-skinned UCLA grad firstborn to a glet. The bride is a health science high IQ graduate in neuroscience research; her husband (the glet) literally works in a car wash, FFS!
But her mom (my niece) has been in ‘status orgasmicus’ with joy at the marriage and, more recently, with the birth of their first niglet. I posted a comment on this earlier today. Once again, it disappeared into the ether. This has happened periodically, so I don’t know if these lost posts are going to moderation for some reason, and are just never being manually released, or if the blog hosting software is intentionally shitcanning then based on some unknown critrria. There was nothing over the top in my lost comment (compared to the stuff I normally post here, at least) so there seems to be no rhyme or reason to why it happens. Anyone else having this issue randomly (but not frequently)? Gets a bit frustrating to spend time typing something up only to have it disappeared. And yet, this comment will probably post normally. About to find out, anyway…
Moi. About 1/2 of my comments appear and like you, I have not been able to discern a pattern regarding content nor context of their appearance.
My loss rate hasn’t been nearly that bad, but is enough to be getting genuinely frustrating.
I will generally lose any comments posted under a new username or email addy unless Arthur notices it in his spam filter and fishes it out. I’ve also lost anything that I posted with a typo in either username or address, as the filter thinks it is a ‘new’ commenter.
I’m aware of these issues, but know for.certtain the most recent instances of dropped comments have my screen name and email correct, so it’s something else (likely a word or words in the text of the comment) causing them to get dropped. Given that I’ve used many of the typically “forbidden” words here in comments many, many times without the comment being dropped, there must be some more obscure words or phrases triggering this behavior, or it is just totally random in nature.
Our ‘lost comment’ commenters illustrate an interesting point.
I wonder if ‘random’ deletions is intended to keep everybody off-balance, on-edge, suspicious.
