A Teen Sent Home for Refusing to Take Out Trash at McDonald’s Complained to Mom. Then Her Manager Shot Mom: Cops

A McDonald’s manager from Illinois is facing a weapons charge after allegedly shooting the mother of one of her employees.
Kathy Bledsoe, 44, was working as manager at a Belleville outpost of the fast food chain on July 16, and at one point in the afternoon instructed a juvenile female to take out the trash, according to the Belleville Police Department.
When the teen refused, Bledsoe claimed to police she instructed the girl to clock out for the day.
At that point the teen contacted her mother, Tynika R. McKinzie, “who responded to the store with another juvenile female,” according to a news release, after which a “verbal disturbance ensued.”
At some point, McKinzie allegedly made her way behind the counter of the restaurant and to Bledsoe’s office.
Once there, she allegedly “battered Bledsoe in the face and head” until the manager pulled out a gun and allegedly shot the woman in the leg, according to police.
No mugshot for Tynika McKinzie but do you really need one? There is a mugshot for Kathy Bledsoe however….
I have never worked at McDonalds but I would guess that taking trash out is one of the basic duties for an employee. Apparently for Tynika McKinzie’s baby gurl, that is just beneath her. I loved this comment on the OP:

I am not sure what the stand your ground rules in Illinois are, probably something ridiculous, but the Belleville, IL Police clarified on Facebook what Bledsoe was being charged with as it seems she was just defending herself:
People were pissed in the original post from the cops that Bledsoe was being charged when she was the one being attacked but the gun laws in Illinois are insane. She will almost certainly lose her job as well, all because she instructed an employee to perform a basic function of the job she was being paid to perform.

According to the stories and the GoFundMe she has six kids and worked at McDonalds for 15 years. No mention of a husband, her GoFundMe has raised $48,502 out of a goal of $1,000,000. I guess she would have been better off stabbing a White teenager to death.

During the arraignment, the assistant prosecutor also said Muhammad is connected to a previous stabbing.
“The defendant does have a prior instance of at least one that I’m aware of that involved a stabbing, similar obviously to the stabbing that occurred in this case, involving a knife,” said Hengeveld.
So McDonalds is probably the only job she could get.
The lesson? It is dangerous to work at McDonalds.

I used to work as a tech servicing sound and intercom systems. I must have been to every fast food joint in the mid-Atlantic region. I can tell just by walking in a fast food place the demographics of the manager.
The best? Asian men and women, followed by white men. With Asians, you can bet that they don’t want workers standing around, so they send them to take out the trash, clean the bathrooms, etc. The places are usually well run, clean, and have a variety of staff.
Down here, those are followed by Mexicans. The place is squared away, the food flying out the door. Like Asians, they don’t abide by workers standing around.
The worst? Black women. Black men are only slightly better. They tend to hire their own and it shows. Trash cans full, bathroom disgusting, service slow and indifferent. You can smell the spent fryer grease, as it’s no one’s job to clean that either.
When I was a manager, there were only to kinds of people that no shit told me “I ain’t paid to do that”. Blacks, and trailer trash. That happened twice before they learned never to say that again and do what I told them to do.

Unfortunately, at our local Chik-fil-a where I stop occasionally, almost all of the counter help is black. All the ones I’ve had wait on me were reasonably polite and competent, though.
When I travel to Ohio and Indiana and get fast food in the small towns I like to take pictures of the workers in the back. They are almost all universally White. And most, if not all of the customers are White.
Therefore, things are orderly, polite, and the service is fast and friendly. I send the pictures to my buddies in Texas and Louisiana and they are usually in disbelief that you can have a kitchen and restaurant full of nothing but YT.
