Im familiar with the Amish community in the northeastern portion of Kentucky, about Flemingsburg way. Done a lot a of deer huntin’ with them , and they are good solid, honest people with a character and integrity pretty much absent from a large portion of the American population these days. Amish are good people to know, and yes they hunt the hell out the local deer population.
Enjoy Art. We used to go to Shipshewana in the summers for the flea market and great Amish food. Good memories.
A lot of good Amish folk down here in South Central Ohio. Miller’s Amish Store in West Union has great food & they make furniture, too!
