If It Can’t Be Fixed, Break It

Like many others I have lamented just how quickly the shock-and-awe campaign by Trump, Musk, DOGE, etc on the federal leviathan has ground to a halt. I think the effort was well intended and sincere but ultimately doomed to fail.

Many normiecons were crowing about how Trump 2.0 was kicking ass and taking names. I will admit it was a fun few months because a lot of garden variety social media leftists were losing their minds over and over. Each day was like Christmas Day and all of the presents were liberal tears.

One thing I noticed kind of early was that the left seemed to be sitting this out. Apart from the judicial injunctions, there wasn’t much going on apart from screeching from AOC and her negro avatar Jizzmine Crockett. There is a chance that the national injunctions might be coming to an end: Supreme Court Set To End Era Of Nationwide Judicial Injunctions. As the article points out, even leftist twat Elena Kagan was opposed to the idea of a random judge being able to block national policy on a whim.

If that goes down then many of Trump’s executive orders are going to go forward until they get to SCOTUS. I can’t imagine that will not lead to a new phase of “resistance”.

Yet despite all of the effort, what has really been accomplished? Sure USAID was a cancer and that has been mostly shut down and lot of stuff has been exposed but is the Federal leviathan really smaller and/or more efficient in any substantive way? Of course not.

This is what I have been saying over and over, you cannot undo in 4 years while hobbled while hobbled what has been going on full speed for 60 years. I replied to a comment the other day with this:

What we have seen in the first few months of the Trump 2.0 admin was as close to an all out assault on Big Government in my lifetime and probably at least as far back as pre-FDR and what it has accomplished is fuck all. This is why I say that we cannot fix what is broken within the constraints that are supposed to have prevented it from happening in the first place.

I can’t overstate how unprecedented the DOGE thing was in our lifetimes. Even back in the “Contract With America” era that helped catapult the GOP into control of the House for the first time in decades, the size of the government wasn’t reduced appreciably. While the government ran a very small surplus from 1998 to 2001, that was completely undone in the first couple of years post-9/11.

That is why I say that while the system as designed and intended was fine, the current implementation means that it is preventing any attempt to undo what the system was supposed to forbid in the first place.

At this point halfway through May, I am not even sure what Trump is focused on. He is overseas now and while he is doing some good stuff, he is also doing things like declaring victory over the Houthis which is not true at all. When you are dumping high tech fighter jets in the sea trying to avoid missiles launched by goat humpers, you aren’t winning.

The system is by design made to be unfixable. In an inversion of the old saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, the situation now is that “If it ain’t fixable, break it”.

This shouldn’t be read as a call for a really futile and stupid gesture being done on somebody’s part. I get enough of those in the comments. You can’t go lone wolf and cause the system to come apart. It needs to come from closer to the top. In some ways I kind of hope the SCOTUS doesn’t slap down the lower courts, because then perhaps Trump will just ignore the courts entirely and go scorched earth.

The system has failed and the longer we pretend we can fix it without first breaking it, the worse our position will become.

Something I realized is that to the Lefties, the system has and is not failing, it’s “wonderful”.
THEY love how under the covers our tax dollars are financing all of the leftist organizations.
They love that more than half of our budget goes out in entitlements to “help” the deserving (according to them).
They absolutely LOVE that us working stiffs are forced at the end of a gun to hand over our money to all of these bums.

A lefty relative of mine was ranting and raving on FB that Trump might cut Medicaid and benefits to “immigrants”.
I replied, “you mean to criminal aliens who have no right to be here ? I don’t see you shedding a tear for veterans who are US citizens living on the streets but boohoo for a bunch of parasitic invaders” ?
I of course am a “cold hearted racist bastard and she’s ashamed that she is related to me”.

The core problem is almost a majority of the citizens LIKE the current system and don’t want it to change even though we see it is falling apart in front of us.

“our tax dollars are financing all of the leftist organizations”

Yeah. The supposed Lenin quote of “they will sell us the rope that we will use to hang them” was not imaginative enough. It’s more like “they will rob their own to obtain the rope, then gift it to us while blubbering for forgiveness for slavery and the Holo-word in which millions of innocents were deliberately and systematically murdered for no other reasons than resentment and spite.

Yes, the Holodomor was a terrible thing. Just terrible.

The problem is that Trump can’t ignore the courts and do what he wants. That is exactly what congress wants him to do because then they will have actual grounds to impeach him, not some made up reason like they tried using twice before.

    • Jeffrey Zoar

Impeachment is a non starter. They will never get the 2/3 majority in the Senate (unless the charges are something even his base would want him impeached for). The subhuman scum we call senators care a lot more about getting re-elected than they do about getting rid of Trump.

Another excellent post. I agree with you wholeheartedly. I’d love to think things will somehow change and improve, but I see zero evidence of that. Meanwhile people are grumbling about “Trump’s tariffs” increasing the cost of their chinesium, or complaining they don’t receive enough in ‘disability’ or ‘social security.’ These are all taxes that working people are compelled to pay. No, it’s not ‘your’ money – it’s all the government’s money, and you’re supposed to feel grateful they let you keep a portion of it.

And I just bumped into a local father and daughter at the store and she just got fired from her job for being a Christian – here in a tiny town in a ‘bible-belt’ state. Well, I suppose I should be happy I didn’t see a single black or brown today – although there was one fat older guy with his jungle Asian wife. That’s why my husband and I would rather just stay home in the woods – where at least we can pretend the chaos of AINO won’t affect us. But there’s truly no escape from Klownword, just as there’s no fixing it. It must somehow, someday be broken and destroyed, but I don’t believe I will see it in my lifetime.

For anything Trump is doing now to have lasting meaning, the Republican Congress where he has a bare numerical majority would have to act to encase Trump’s executive orders inside statutory authority. That neither Mike Johnson not John Thune is even pretending to codify Trumpism into legislation tells you he is a lone wolf from a public policy standpoint. Once he is gone, the Game of Life, GAE 2025 and beyond, returns.

The basic problem is human nature: the temptation to abuse the authority granted the political class and its retainers to rig the moneymaking process to favor campaign donors, in return for income or wealth beyond the statutory or contractual salary of those politicians, exists whoever is the party, or party faction, in power.

That’s why neither working within the system for change nor going full Luigi individually can make any difference in outcomes. The incentive to take more than authorized by statute or contract will continue to exist in a 22 trillion economy that is the hub of a 51 trillion-dollar world economy. And that is why devoting one’s time to trying to do good for all is a fool’s venture-why risk anything when the payoff is unlikely and the new powers that be will simply start the process of corruption anew.

So, the proper play is to practice your honestly held values within the environment where you live, ignoring the silly games in the imperial capital of the Empire of Evil, mitigating the harm caused by the Empire where you can, and nothing more. For example, where I live, the gas prices at all stations rise and fall together, in violation of anti-trust laws-but the dumb bastards do so in a noticeable pattern that allows me to always buy gas at its lowest web, just before its 7–10-day rise.

Resist, malinger, throw sand in the gears of Leviathan. If enough citizens do so, a portion of Those Who Rule will eventually react, moving life back towards livability, as happened in 2024 with Musk and others rejecting whatever was planned for the Harris Regime (most likely nuclear war with Russia-can’t make money in a pile of ashes).

That which can’t go on will end. The progression on these things isn’t linear. It’s exponential. If you remember your high school graphing… these things putter along the zero x-axis and then ramp sharply upwards and go full retard in the space of a breath.

A couple months ago waves of human trash were flowing across your borders at will. In four months that has been cut off to a trickle. A few officials that are resisting Blumpf have even been arrested and jailed. Art… this is serious stuff! It’s not ending, it’s just getting started. It has to succeed too. If it doesn’t, civil race war is inevitable and that will not go well – especially for the Usual Suspects.

The lunatics have run away with the democrat party. They’ve lost the working man, the middle class, and the ruling elite. The normies are furious. The term nigger is being bandied about publicly. I can see the gloves coming off soon at this rate. Something has to give…

    Have faith.

Filthie is an Optimist – “It’s not ending, it’s just getting started.” Well, despite the ‘success’ of DOGE as a public relations ploy, NOTHING has been done by the Con-gress to Eliminate entire useless Agencies, Cut all Welfare to non-Citizens (‘legal’ or not), Close the 1,000+ Military Bases of the Empire, and most importantly, Destroy all the Non-Constitutional ‘intelligence agencies’. It is the Con-gress, alone, that has the Power to Destroy, any part of the bureaucracy not Explicitly Authorized in the Constitution. The (p)Resident cannot ‘Shut Down’ a Department, like ‘edjumacation’ without the Approval of the Legislature that Created it.

But the Con-gress is a bought, paid for, and blackmailed entity that is 100% Owned and Controlled by (((jew))), Incorporated. We are headed for (un)Civil War like has Never been seen before on this Planet, or the rest of the Galaxy combined.

I heard it put once that an ensconced defender has a 4 to 9 advantage against attackers. Which I guess means that four ensconced guys can be expected to repel up to nine attackers all else being equal.
The ultra radical leftists who hate America and oppose the Trump administration with venom and fire have had literal decades to ensconce themselves in all facets of human existence, and especially gov’t and the bureaucracies. The lost momentum of the shock-n-awe efforts of the Trump administration becomes predictable as the depth and breadth of the corruption, criminality and perversion become known.
And recently these ultra-rads have been shunted on fronts they thought they both owned and were entitled to. From the globalists down through the ranks to the front line White-hating whites and consumed-with-racial-hatred-bla’ques are puzzled by the turn and frustrated and growing restless and desperate.
Whites are growing bored with the tedium of the race baiting, the accusations and the denigration. Which has denied the left of their one card, their one powerplay, their one emotional roundhouse that has been putting Whites on their back foot for far, far too long.
When the joos figure out in enough numbers that they’ve lost their power over Whites, I expect things to get all kinds of wild weasel, as my Vietnam Era fighter pilot friend would say.
I heard the guy on the big national dog show describe terriers as owning the ground they stand upon. That is about the best description I can think of to describe my current view of the world-I’ll stick to what I can control and do my best with that and to hell with the rest of it.
We are either going to be overrun by communists and communists and genocided, or we will be years and maybe decades defeating these wretches.
Fighter pilot friend was in the Marine Corp and flew air cover missions in an F-4. Lotsa great stories.
