My private phone threads are much more quiet now as well. Been a nice break, been stocking up/prepping during the lull. Stumbled upon a couple of nice hard to find .410 caches while working in East Texas this week.
Indeed. My online engagement (both reading and commenting) has been down markedly the last couple of weeks. Mostly because I’m busy with important stuff, and because I’m more convinced than ever that shit is circling the bowl. With regards to the latter, politics and all that spews forth from it are much less a concern of mine, since I have long maintained there is no political solution to any of what has destroyed America.
With that in mind, I only really need to keep apprised of what’s going on to the extent that I can use it in a general sense to inform my gut on how close “the big event” is. So, the state of various candidacies and other BS isn’t really of interest, I’m more attuned to what the back room dirty dealings, and things like the state of supply chains appear to be up to. The coming election (which may not even happen) is a circle jerk meant to occupy maximum clock cycles of normie brains. Fuck that noise, I’m just looking for signs that the shit is about to go hot.
Most everything else (excepting real world economic distress indications which are really starting to stack up) is, at best, a distraction that takes one’s eye off the ball, and this is not the setting for distracted complacency.
Was thinking on that when you hadn’t posted in a bit and just had a few thought that we really wouldn’t know if you got swept up in a raid or anything because everyone so isolated in the real…Just like anyone of us other than our close Tribe wouldn’t have a clue…
Yes, and it is a damned shame we of like mind are often separated by geographic distribution, and lack of means for direct communication (though the latter can be overcome, obviously). That and the day to day demands placed on our time and other finite resources (and which the bad guys are ever more resourceful in trying to steal away or just waste, so we don’t have the use of them in any case) has made our chances of a united front against clown world a very tall order.
And if I’m being honest, a combination of burnout and discouragement has been setting in of late. Part of that is just due to ongoing personal and professional challenges of the sort we all deal with, but events are shaping up in such a way that I really believe time is now short until real pain and suffering sets in. While I have planned for that (to the extent reasonably possible), and have even mentally hardened myself for that eventuality, I know it will be a struggle, and I’m not looking forward to it.
With the recent attempt on Trump, and the revelations that it is, with virtual certainty, a product of deep state planning, the stakes have obviously been raised yet again. Each one of these “mile markers” on the road to ruin is like an old roadside Burmashave ad, except each sign post has some seminal event listed on it (like the state aided (attempted) assassination of a major political figure) that we all know leads to the final sign that says “y’all are fucked, have a nice life (whatever is left of it)”. Not sure how many signs remain, but we’ve driven by a number of them in the last couple of years now, and have likely barely taken note of a couple of them, as their significance wasn’t necessarily understood at the time.
One of those is the accumulation of sovereign debt, now at a run rate of +$1T in <78 days, give or take. Clearly, our debt is already beyond ruinous, and getting more so by the hour. I don't think most people (myself included) really have taken full stock of just what those numbers mean to our economic future. To say it's bad is a understatement of unparalleled absurdity. But the human mind cannot conceive of these numbers really, and so it goes right by us, as so many other statistics that should have had the country in a mass panic and revolt a long time ago. So too is the case with the number of invaders now present. The numbers are just overwhelming.
But this place is a hangout for those who are far better informed than the average schlub, and have at least a functional understanding of these issues, so I'm not breaking any new ground here for the regular readership. Just reiterating what I see as among the myriad reasons for our coming downfall. None of these issues will be fixed, nor will they get even remotely better, before they become triggers for real seriously bad shit to take place. That is the quick and dirty summation of it all, right there.
Never had a telescreen, never will.
Watching homeless camp videos in FLA, glorious peoples republic of Oregon, at the econ collapse blog.
Always plenty of money for foreigners as everything turns to shit in das Homeland.
Keep on trucking until the end, I was ten feet from the morgue as the POC nurses were going nuts with blood draws and came back.
The other side is golden glorious beyond your wildest imagination.
Thank You God for letting me see it.
Regarding the attempt on Trump, Michael Yon copied this from someone I’m unfamiliar with, and I’m not sure if it will be clickable when I paste the link. If it is, I was wondering what you all thought of the opinion. Some of it I get, but a lot of the technical stuff is Greek to me:
I don’t know. I see [putatively] “our guys” get into these thought exercises in which – as bad as the obvious and otherwise confirmable/plausible details are – they want to fill in the gaps with even more outlandish/outrageous ideas.
Could these things have happened as outlined in the post? Yeah, conceivably, but then there is also the matter of the argument the govt is a bunch of DIE, affirmative action, self-ass covering morons who are inept and couldn’t plan a barbeque, versus the idea they are nearly omnipotent and capable of pulling off incredibly complex multifaceted ops in broad daylight, with scores of witnesses to boot. So which is it?
I can buy into the idea that rank incompetence was utilized to “plan” gaps in security adequate to facilitate an assassination, and make it look like it was just the result of ineptitude and piss poor planning. But these far more advanced operations being proposed as underlying the incident in PA start to strain credulity.
For now, I would need further concrete evidence of these more recently proposed theories to be convinced. Mostly because it requires an belief in the organizational and executive capabilities of the govt to do stuff that strikes me as beyond their level of competence now.
Thing I asked elsewhere though is even if we knew down to the T of what transpired What the hell are we going to do about it…Are you going to do anything different if you knew for sure what went on… That’s the thing about our side we get so worked up over shit we have no say in and the things that we could get worked up over that might just help us survive what’s coming is just ho hum that’s too hard or to much sacrifice…
To Lineman: the only advantage I see–of irrefutable evidence coming to light that there was government involvement–would be if it was not successfully suppressed (a big ‘if’, I know).
I get it that many of our structural weaknesses are not going to go away just because Trump gets elected, if he does, but him doing so is certainly better than the idiotic little puppet who will apparently be his opponent. If enough people knew that the regime tried to murder him, that might put him out of cheating range.
If everyone knows but no one acts it doesn’t matter what they know…
Everyone is waiting for someone else to save them or to die when it all collapses that’s the point I am trying to make…We have so much history we can study and see what happens when people just sit and wait hoping against hope that enough people, find out enough things, that will get them to act to save themselves…You know in Soviet times the saying was if only Stalin knew how bad it was he would do something for us…It’s the same thing with us saying oh if people knew how bad it was they would do something…I always ask people the question when they say we need more people to wake up first and that is why would people do anything different than what they are doing right now when those who are awake aren’t doing a damn thing other than trying to get people to wake up…
Well yes, that is a valid question, with an answer that can pretty well be inferred, as you’ve already done. I am at the stage where I believe it more beneficial to hang back quietly and allow the leviathan to consume itself and collapse under it’s own weight, than to attempt to hasten it’s end by challenging it directly. Even an organized group with real skills and resources would be hard pressed to make any real dent in “the system”, and as much as it sucks to have to take a passive stance towards their ongoing insults and destruction, it is freeing to in accept that there are things beyond one’s control, and that the system itself cannot last because it has become utterly sclerotic and inept.
The bigger problem – as I see it – is the percentage of gen pop American’s who are not only unconcerned with the machinations of their present clown world government, but actively desire more of the same. Let’s be realistic here, there are scores of people who manage to exist only as parasites – on the backs and at the expense of others – and they like it that way. This is not just a democrat/leftist problem, there are plenty of Republicans/so called “conservatives” teat suckers as well.
My overarching point is that we have a largely garbage population, and it has begat garbage politics. A massive Malthusian die off is about the only scenario I can see that might allow for the reestablishment of a properly functional society. Maybe that comes through war, famine, and/or disease, but I’m not counting on that, and figure we are going to a much darker place, and quite probably for the remaining balance of my lifetime. That may sound like a black pill, and I suppose it is. But I’m just being realistic in my expectations based on present circumstances.
Thing is Brother I am not suggesting to directly challenging the government in any way at this point in time and have never asked that of anyone…I have advocated and suggested that we need to come together and work towards a common goal which is to separate and withdraw our time, wealth, and energy from the system in whatever way we can…I have suggested that to do that we need to be in closer proximity to one another to be able to trade and barter those three things I mentioned above…The thing is that takes courage, sacrifice, and selflessness that is not present enough on our side to make that happen…So there’s that…I wonder if the Kulaks ever had that thought or even conversations amongst themselves about the need to come together or were they too scared like quite a few dissidents seem to be at this time…

It’s good to turn it off from time to time.

I concur Brother looks like 76% of taxes collected went to pay interest on the debt all the while they are adding too it like mad…
