For a not terribly large city, Indianapolis sure has more than her fair share of less-than-bright colored folk. These all deserve mention but not their own posts so I lumped them together.

First up the Taco Bell bandit and taking a bite out of crime.

K9 sicced on armed robber who crawled through Taco Bell drive-thru window

An armed Taco Bell robber was fleeing from police when a K9 clamped down on his backside, causing him to tense up and fire a shot from the handgun clutched in his grip.

Fortunately, no one was struck by the gunfire and the thief was taken into custody, though his accomplices remain unknown at this time.

Fredrick A. Nance, 24, was arrested on June 30 by the Fishers Police Department after being caught fleeing from the scene of an armed robbery that involved two masked men crawling through a Taco Bell drive-thru window and forcing employees at gunpoint to open a safe….

….A K9 officer responding to the robbery spotted the stolen Challenger and gave pursuit, court documents reveal. Nance is accused of driving recklessly in his attempt to outrun the police officer. He ended up bailing out of the car at Castle Creek Apartments and running off.

K9 Tiesto chased after Nance with his handler reportedly hearing a gunshot and becoming worried for his K9 partner. The officer found Tiesto latched onto Nance’s backside and quickly secured him.

‘He’s a very dumb criminal’: 19-year-old danced around victim after shooting him point-blank in head, court docs reveal

Court documents reveal that a shooting suspect was allegedly caught on camera dancing and skipping around his victim’s body moments after shooting a 21-year-old point-blank in the head.

Kyis L. Glaspar, 19, is charged with two counts of murder relating to the execution-style shooting of Kiyon Davidson. He also faces one count of robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 2 felony…..

….A post made on Instagram by Glaspar after the deadly shooting seemed to eluded to Davidson’s robbery and murder with Glaspar allegedly posting: “Kd had dat bag till dem (blast emoji) blew da cash out (laughing emoji).”

Police said “KD” was a nickname for Davidson.

Police ended up viewing surveillance footage which reportedly showed the shooting. In the footage, a man matching Glaspar’s description walks behind Davidson and fires a point-blank shot into the back of the victim’s head.

Glaspar then allegedly is seen “dancing around the body immediately after the victim dropped to the ground” along with “skipping away through the parking lot.”

“He’s a very dumb criminal,” an informant told police, sharing how Glaspar has been claiming “nonstop” about killing Davidson.

Even by Miracle-American standards that is a dumb criminal.

Finally a unique take on the “No justice, no peace” mantra.

‘Get my own justice’: Indy man pleads guilty to stabbing 2 IMPD officers in retaliation for large medical bill

An Indianapolis man has pled guilty to attempted murder after luring two IMPD officers to an area near the Indiana State Fairgrounds before ambushing and stabbing them, reportedly in retaliation for a large medical bill he couldn’t afford.

Deonta Williams, 22, entered a guilty plea on Thursday in Marion County Court for two counts of attempted murder – a level 1 felony. The charges stem from a 2021 incident in which two Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were stabbed on the city’s near north side.

IMPD officers were called around 1:10 a.m. on Dec. 1, 2021, by a man – later identified as Williams – who reported a disturbance in the 1400 block of Fairfield Avenue just south of the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Williams told 911 that he was being harassed by another man.

Around 5 minutes later, two IMPD officers arrived to find Williams standing in the street. The officers reportedly told Williams they would try to find the person involved.

However, when they turned and began walking away, Williams stabbed both officers with two different knives. One officer was stabbed in the chest while the other was slashed in the neck.

IMPD said officers both drew their guns and commanded Williams to get on the ground, but he did not comply. The officers then both fired at Williams, shooting him several times before he fell in the middle of the street.

The cops involved should be suspended, required to take marksmanship classes and roundly mocked for failing to cap this dumbass at knife range. Jokes on us, now Deonta Williams is going to get his medical care for free courtesy of the tax payers of Indiana. Checkmate racists!

Not lovin’ it? Indy police say naked woman threw bricks through McDonald’s windows

Employees at an east side McDonald’s told police that a naked woman jumped out of a car and threw two bricks through the restaurant’s windows before speeding off.

According to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report, officers were called to the McDonald’s located at 3745 N. Post Road around noon on Friday on report of vandalism.

Employees told responding IMPD officers that a nude woman leapt out of a white car with two bricks in her hands and chucked the masonry through two large windows.

The damage to the restaurant’s windows is estimated to be at $15,000.

After throwing the bricks, the suspect reportedly jumped back in the white car which drove away from the popular fast food chain.

Police did not have a detailed description of the vehicle the suspect fled in, employees perhaps too distracted by the sudden, buck-naked act committed in the blinding light of high noon.

There is something deeply wrong in Indianapolis.
