South Bend Man Sentenced to 168 Months in Prison
DeVante Jiggetts, 30 years old, of South Bend, Indiana, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Damon R. Leichty after pleading guilty to two counts of robbery affecting commerce, one count of brandishing a firearm in relation to a crime of violence, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Clifford D. Johnson.
Jiggetts was sentenced to 168 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release.

Bravo! Not sure why, but “jigaboo” has long been one of my favorite epithets (ah, but there are so many great ones), so to read of one named Jiggets was just too perfect.
Hahaha. Yesssirrreeee. My grandfather used to use that word a lot and it stuck with me. I just like the way it rolls off the tongue. And a surname of Jiggetts tees it up to knock it out of. err I mean, knock it out the park.

My NYC Italian friends used to refer to blacks as “melanzana” (eggplant). It was code for blacks and they had not a clue.
