You probably heard that the Secretary of State in Maine arbitrarily decided to disenfranchise Republican voters in the state by keeping Donald Trump off the ballot. Her name is Shenna Bellows and not only is her name dumb but she has a very pimp-slappable face:

She was defeated by “Republican” Susan Collins but ended up winning the election for Maine’s Secretary of State in 2020, taking office in 2021.

You might wonder why Maine of all places needs a “Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine” and you would wonder that because you are a bigot and antisemite of course. Most states have some sort of “Holocaust museum”. Indiana has one in Terre Haute, noted home of Nazis and gas chambers, called the CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center. Just searching for “holocaust museum” on Google maps and sliding the map around, I see three in Ohio, at least one in Michigan, 3 in Illinois, 2 in Wisconsin (one is the “American black Holocaust museum”, whatever the hell that is).
You might further wonder why America, a nation that welcomed lots of Jews who have done very well here and now occupy a disproportionate percentage of powerful positions in our nation, a nation that went to war to defeat the Third Reich, and a nation that was instrumental in the creation of the modern secular ethnostate of Israel and has spent untold billions of dollars and thousands of American lives to protect that ethnostate, needs to have dozens of Holocaust museums scattered all over the country. Another question a bigot would ask.
Set aside the historical reality, or lack thereof, of the events collectively called the Holocaust. The reason we have Holocaust memorials all over the country for “education” all ties of the Holocaust-Industrial Complex that has successfully provided cover for all sorts of garbage that has nothing to do with the Holocaust itself. Just as the “Civil Rights Movement” has nothing to do with actual civil rights and black Lives Matter cared nothing about black lives, the mythology of the Holocaust is used as a magical talisman that can be employed to stop conversations.
For example, The Holocaust and Human Rights Center in Maine where Shenna Bellows was employed (the current Executive Director is, believe it or not, named Tam Thanh Huynh and is actually significantly homelier than Shenna Bellows), features plenty of non-Jew stuff like the “29 Mainers Exhibit” that seeks to accomplish a nigh impossible task:

There are of course lots of sections about Jewish stuff, including a new one for me, some chick born in a “displaced persons camp” who is a “second generation child of Holocaust survivors”, and I assume that means she has at least one grandparent that was allegedly a “Holocaust survivor”. As old Jews who claim to be survivors die off, the mere presence of a survivor in one’s lineage will serve to make one a moral authority.

Thanks to a pop culture driven retconning of the history of World War II, the Holocaust has been elevated to the Holiest of Holies, something that even asking questions about can get you imprisoned in some nations and here in America is a sure way to get tossed from polite society. You can get away with some light “racism” via noticing but the Holocaust is sacrosanct across the political spectrum. To question it is to declare yourself beyond the pale.

Given how much of the known past has been exactly that, I can’t see how it is an unlikely outcome to expect. It strikes me now that the actual “good times” that western civilization (however briefly) provided were an aberration, and in the big picture, a blip of relative insignificance on the timeline of human history. The circumstances that created it to begin with are unlikely to be repeatable, once the return to the baseline of human misery is an accomplished fact. I’d like to say we had a good run, but that’s just another cope to try and lessen the despair at were we are clearly heading.

The 6 million under Hitler and the Nazi’s, then supposedly 6 million 50 years prior during the reign of Tzars during the Russian Empire. I always seem to get dismissed when I refer the plight of Christians in the world. The murder of 30-60 million in the Soviet Union, the struggle of Armenian Christians. The murders of Christians in places such as Nigeria, Mozambique, other places in the World. It largely seems they don’t matter, compared to the magical 6 million. I grow weary of it all.
