Shooting after Magic City Classic in Alabama leaves 1 dead, 8 injured
What is the Magic City Classic? I have never heard of it, at least I don’t think I have, but just based on the headline I took a guess, and sho nuff I was correct.
One person was killed and eight others were wounded in a shooting following the Magic City Classic college football game in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday evening, authorities said.
The Birmingham Police Department said officers responded shortly after 7:50 p.m. to the 400 block of Graymont Avenue West, near Legion Field, where they found nine gunshot victims….
…According to officials, the shooting took place outside Legion Field following a football game between the Alabama A&M University Bulldogs and the Alabama State University Hornets, two historically Black [sic] universities that compete in the annual Magic City Classic.

Legion Field is where the Iron Bowl (Auburn vs Alabama) used to be played. Darkest part of a very dark Birmingham.
