Today just got away from me, a fitting end to an ass kicking week.
Spent a little of the day babysitting an expectant mama horse for some Amish friends. Horse-sitting maybe? Anyway I went to check on her and lo and behold! she done had her a little foal all on her own.

She is a Fell pony so they aren’t super big.
Anyway between that and work and stuff I didn’t even get in front of the computer much. I have lots to talk about but it will have to wait for tomorrow, I am desperately watching the clock for it to get late enough to go to bed.
Don’t I know the feeling. Working 65+ hour weeks here lately. Making hay while the sun shines, to keep with the horse theme. I see big storm clouds on the horizon, and figure the sun may be obscured while before too much longer…
I say yea buddy and keep on rolling. The horrors persist and so do I.
Nimrod worship has never had a happy ending and it never will.
We will free ourselves of various parasites.
Tis the season – for babies. Seeing lots of little calves, foals, and absolutely adorable spotted baby deer all over the place here. Plus the usual baby birds chirping under the shed awning, etc.
