Big news*!
The “crime” that led to the murder of Vicki and Sammy Weaver is now apparently no longer a crime (I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advice, seek advice from counsel, etc).
Now I need to get a cheap side by side shotgun and go Max Rockatansky with it.
Still need to get some legal eagles to tell us what this all means, the link at the very top includes the ATF letter. As an FFL I should have gotten the same letter but I am still waiting for it to show in my email.

So a guy could go and get an 11.5″ barreled receiver for his AR and not have to worry about consequences? That’s kinda what I think I heard. Asking for a friend.
If I understand this correctly, the courts ruled this unconstitutional. The constitution has not changed. If it’s unconstitutional now, then it always was. The story now is that it was *always* legal to saw them off.
Everyone in jail for this faux offence must be freed, and has standing to sue.
