We Don’t Need No Education….

…as long as the teachers look like us!

Broadly speaking, schooling is supposed to be about learning (or in Minneapolis “learing”). There are other factors like learning to get along with others and obtaining certain social skills, such as how to keep quiet about your teacher molesting you, but those are secondary to the fundamental building blocks of learning. Our schools are designed to build on prior learning, so you go from learning your numbers to basic addition and subtraction, then multiplication and division, fractions, geometry, algebra, and so on.

In practice very little of that is going on of course. This has been true for quite some time and now it seems every public school teacher has a TikTok account where they proudly proclaim their intention to transform little kids into trannies. Despite the seemingly endless firehose of money we pour into public schools, educational achievement is on a downward trajectory.

Much or most of that is the result of demographics. In many inner city schools the student body looks like it was plucked from Juarez, Nairobi or some Indian subcontinent open air toilet. Our education system, whether “educators” will admit it or not, was designed by and for White students who on average possess the minimal intelligence needed to grasp the fundamentals of learning. It is not working and never will work regardless of spending on students who have IQs under 90. The less White (or East Asian) the school, the worse the educational results.

None of that is news to my astute readers of course.

That also doesn’t stop morons from insisting on making changes that do nothing to move the achievement needle for all sorts of reasons. For example down in the state capitol of Indianapolis we see this story:

I am not sure what “It’s a vibe” means but I am sure it doesn’t mean “Results in improved achievement”. From the story…

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, less than 2% of educators are Black [sic] men. One Indianapolis school is flipping the script.

At Avondale Meadows Middle School on the city’s near northside, 13 of the school’s 21 staff members are Black [sic] or other minority men…

…The comments poured in, with positive messages like “Black [sic] educators make a difference” and “Love to see this!”

Principal Ciara Jones says the atmosphere inside the school is different when students see so many men who look like them in positions of leadership.

“It’s a vibe,” Jones said. “It’s like having the uncles in the hallways. Learning feels more personable now.”

It’s like having uncles in the hallway? As in “I’ll be a monkey’s uncle”?

I saw the story on Faceberg and the comments were pretty evenly split between snarky comments from people like me, normies wondering why “color matters” when hiring and the frothing at the mouth defenders of this decrying people asking why “color matters” as racists.

Me being me, I asked myself “Self, I wonder if this has resulted in positive results for the students?”. Me also being me, I suspected it did not and as is usually the case, I was right. The stats for Avondale Meadows Middle School are pretty grim. First the lay of the land…..

Almost all from poor families, heavily skewed to male students, over 80% black, nearly 10% mixed race and 8% mestizo. Virtually no White students. That is a pretty ominous set of demographics and the results are exactly what you would expect.

Yikes. The English state required tests must be pretty easy and still less than a quarter met the bare bones standards. What is worse, English was the best result. In math 93% didn’t meet the standard and in science 98% were below the mark.

For a point of reference, these are the same tests taken by local Amish kids and many of them, at least the girls, score very well. I know a few that tested at high school senior level despite only going to school through the 8th grade. The Amish kids score very well compared to their peers and most have horrible grammar, although that doesn’t seem to stop them from being very successful in life.

Maybe it is just the racism talking but it seems to me that even though having male black teachers makes the students (and liberal White ladies on social media) feel good, it isn’t translating to better test scores. You can’t solve the problem of black underachievement by increasing the number of black teachers or even increasing the level of spending, not by any amount. The best we can do would be to stop pretending these li’l black “scholars” are going to become physicists and instead give them the bare bones of a rudimentary education and then teach them some marketable skills so the few that avoid prison or welfare can be useful members of society.

As a bonus on the topic of black “educators” that didn’t deserve a post of it’s own….

In footage shared by Libs of TikTok, LaToya Yagaloff, a Democrat vice chair of the board, can be heard making the case during a public meeting that black teachers deserve higher pay based on their race.

Yagaloff claims that financial incentives will attract greater diversity.

“Are there financial incentives for black and brown people to work here? It’s an extra burden, quite frankly, to be a black and brown teacher and administrator in the district, so I think we need to start thinking about that financially if we’re not already,” she stated.

“We got money,” she laughs.

Dey is tired boss. Powerful tired.

As it just so happens, Whites are tired too. Tired of their violence and complaining and general bullshit.
