Remember when “Joe Biden”, aka the AutoPen, was signing pre-emptive pardons for his family members and cronies? It was unprecedented, “pardoning” people including pretty obscure family members who not only had not been accused of a crime but in many cases were people no one had even heard of.
The excuse was that the tyrant Trump would go after his political enemies, from Liz Cheney on the January 6th farcical “committee” to the heretofore unknown members of the Biden family. Of course none of that happened, just as no one ever looked at Hillary Clinton and the Clinton family/crime syndicate. No one has ever been held to account for the 2020 shenanigans or all of the other crap from Covid and the “vaccines” to the unjust show trial of Derek Chauvin.
Then remember when there was all that talk of challenging those “pardons” for people not yet even accused of a crime? Somehow that slipped through the cracks and I don’t think it is all the fault of Israel and this foolish, unwinnable war on Iran.
It is certainly peculiar how after a few hurfs and blurfs from Trump that the issue completely disappeared. No one talked about it. It might make a suspicious man ask “why”?
My theory on why is that Trump isn’t challenging it because he is going to do the same thing before his term is up. Democrats have made no secret of their intentions to go after Trump and his family criminally once he is out of office. At first I thought this was just more Orange Man Bad pettiness but now?
I am thinking there may be more to this than just spite.
There are a lot of shady things going on, from the golden cell phones that never got delivered to the crypto scheme, the weird timing on annoucements on Iran that caused massive shifts in the market to Barron Trump reportedly being worth over $100 million already.
I have known quite a few very wealthy people, no one on the scale of Trump, but one thing I have noticed is that for most of them when it comes to wealth there is no such thing as enough. Being content isn’t a quality you find in most wealthy people because it isn’t a quality that lends itself to becoming wealthy in the first place.
Most people have noticed a major shift in Trump from Year One to Year Two of Trump 2.0. Gone is the populist posturing. Now it seems to be All Israel All The Time and full on looting, getting what he can for his family dynasty by robbing the rotting corpse of what was once America.
Perhaps being able to see things most of us can’t he has come to realize, as many of /ourguys/ have figured out, that there is no saving this country and so he figures might as well get what he can, while he can. On the other hand I called this guy a New York City conman, a carnival barker writ large, back when he was running the first time and if anything he has more than lived down to my derision.
Watch and see. I will be shocked if Trump doesn’t emulate Biden by preemptively pardoning himself, his family and his cronies. The difference? The Left won’t hesitate to challenge his “pardons” and they have plenty of pet judges who will rule against the Bad Orange Man without hesitation. The Supreme Court as presently constituted probably won’t go along but I don’t think the SCOTUS will look as it does now for very much longer.
I don’t think people are going to like it when they get to see how the sausage is made.

After many years of futility, I’ve stopped trying to change minds on stuff like that, it is no different than hanging my head against a concrete wall.

I have relatives down in the Pit that is south California, that I care about. For over 40 years I have tried to get them to see what is evident all around them in the dark lands, to no avail. It took years, but I have realized that “we” cannot save everyone. And, so, we must harden our hearts and focus on saving any we can. If in careful consideration of folks we know, we can save who can be saved, great. The focus after that, is to get ready for the potential of killing who must be killed, and of course, to always be working for the preservation and continuing of the White race. That can never be in question. Sounds much like the Killhouse Rules, because reality shows us that’s where we live now.

I think perhaps the most salient point here is how much longer it will be before one party or the other chooses simply to ignore presidential pardons issued by their opposition prior to departing office. I’d hoped (well not really, because I knew he wouldn’t ) that Trump would do so with the autopen preemptive pardons, as I don’t consider a blanket get out of jail free card for unspecified crimes one hasn’t even been formally charged with, much less convicted of, to be legally valid or binding. I’m sure there’s no shortage of whore legal scholars and attorneys who would argue otherwise, but they can piss off, because they’re just talking their book and trying to protect the status quo.
At any rate, I fully expect the Dems will be the ones to break with tradition and say “fuck your pardons, they’re just shitty little pieces of paper (like the constitution)”, quite likely after the 2028 elections. They have no respect for rule of law anyway, except for when they need to impose it maximally upon others, to cover their own asses. The Republican’ts, for their part, also engage in self ass covering, but are otherwise loathe to impose the law on their putative political enemies, something the Dems will have no compunction about doing. When they retake power again, I fully expect to see a “Bolsheviks deposing the Czar” scenario. We saw a “lite” version of that with J6, though they obviously limited their witch hunt and show trials to civilians (of course) and conveniently exempted all govt actors involved. I don’t think that “professional courtesy” holds much longer.
That could be the impetus for the civil war/revolution I fully expect will eventually happen, although I certainly won’t give half a shit about trump, his family, or any of his inner circle, should they be massacred in the ensuing struggle sessions. And I don’t imagine many others will, either.
