Toledo man accused of repeatedly hitting his own child with a mailbox
You have to give them some credit, they certainly have a knack for turning just about anything into a weapon.
A Toledo man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly repeatedly hitting his own child with a mailbox while the child was in their mother’s arms, according to official court records.
Police say on Saturday, July 11 around 5:03 p.m., 31-year-old Ronald Ensley repeatedly attacked the mother of his child while she was holding the child in her arms. Because of this, court records allege Ensley repeatedly hit the child in the head with a mailbox.
Court documents also allege Ensley choked the mother of his child at the time of the incident.
Recall that I have suggested on many occasions that the only thing worse for a black kid than growing up in a fatherless home is growing up with their father present in their lives.
My wife and I have been together, first dating and then married, for close to 40 years and I have never struck her because it is a cowardly thing to do. To hit her and my child with a mailbox (not even sure how that happened) before strangling her? We see once again that impulse control they are so famous for on display.
What do you suppose the odds are that the “mother of his child” is a mudshark?
