Ohio truck driver charged in pileup that killed 3, including infant

Three people, including a 1-year-old, died after a semi-truck plowed into stopped traffic in a work zone on Interstate 71, triggering a pileup involving nine vehicles, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Modou F. Ngom, 50, of Columbus, was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide following the collision. He was booked into the Delaware County Jail.
Troopers said the crash happened at approximately 6:27 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the U.S. Route 36 interchange.
Investigators said Ngom was driving a 2006 Freightliner semi-truck northbound when he failed to stop for vehicles that had slowed in the construction zone. The truck struck multiple stopped cars from behind, setting off a chain-reaction crash that ultimately involved nine vehicles.
The three people killed were riding in a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado and were all from Ashley, Ohio. Authorities identified them as a 37-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman and a 1-year-old child. Their identities were being withheld pending further notification of kin, troopers said.

If a barkeep bears responsibility for the subsequent behavior of drivers to whom he served alcohol (42/50 states have that statute apparently) then so should those who approve the unqualified, release multiple offendeders on little or no bail, or admit illegals into the country, bear responsibility for the consequences thereof.

Go to any cuckservatard site and read crowing about how the Trump admin is pulling all these drivers from the road – just another lie along with how many have supposedly ‘self deported.’ They never confiscate the trucks. They never arrest or deport the jeets who own the companies. Every driver is back on the road with a different license issued by a different state the next week. And round and round we go.
This is a big problem; the perception – even insistence – that some people have that such things are being done on any significant scale, without actual proof being needed. It as if the fact fox news, or Trump himself, said it was taking place, then it must be an accomplished fact. This is such a ridiculous boomercon take that I don’t even know how to counter it. I don’t think it can be effectively countered, in fact.
It is a belief held with the same conviction as an article of religious faith, and no challenge to it’s validity can ever be considered by this type of mid-wit. Again, I have to make a direct comparison to debating the various facets of COVID (as went it’s actual deadliness, and effective treatments) back in 2020-23, one may as well be arguing with a cinder block. I’ve long ago run out of any inclination to try and debate these types, as slamming my dick in a car door would be a more useful expenditure of my time and effort, and would be about as likely to change their minds.
But the point is, there are a substantial number of people who appear to believe Trump is actually fixing this shit, and so continue to view his as some sort of savior. I wouldn’t be bagging on the guy constantly if he was actually doing what these sorts believe he is. There’s just no breaking through the protective barrier they’ve erected around their beliefs. Trump disappoints on so many levels that I could post for a year straight and never scrape the bottom of my Barrel of Despair. Recall that he referenced his role in “Operation Warp Speed” at every rally, saying that “I saved millions & millions of lives…” He was so tone deaf that he failed to hear the chorus of ‘boos’ that accompanied those particular boasts.

I feel your pain. I truly do. I too have the same reaction of outrage, frustration, and sheer anger. But what can any of us do? What can any of us individually, or all of us collectively actually do?
We voted for the president that was supposedly going to round up and deport millions upon millions of illegals. That is obviously not happening, and is not going to happen in the foreseeable future. And then there is the problem of those that are here legally, like the 2G retard in the booking picture above. Eight years of Bush 43, plus eight years of Obama, plus four years of Biden relocated literally tens of millions of these third world shitbags here, and they cannot be touched because they are here ‘legally’.
So again, what can any of us do? Sure, we could see who was head of the Ohio state Depsrtment of Transportation when this guy’s CDL was issued…..and then what? Drag him (or her) out into the street and administer some old fashioned justice? Sounds good, but try it and you will end up dead or in prison for life.
So seriously what can we do, other than vent our spleen on forums like this one. I wish I knew. Presently, we cannot do anything that will matter at scale. The inevitable outcome of all this is going to be civil war. It will be terrible, but it is the only remaining card to be played. And even that is no assurance that our point of view will prevail; we can only hope that those soft and stupid sorts who are unreachable can be easily dispatched in massive numbers when the time comes.
Short of a magic wand that can change people’s minds on fundamentals, little else but large scale violence will ever move the needle on these issues now. Those whose beliefs are working directly against us, and their own best interests (as is the case) will have to be eliminated or broken, in order to shed their idiocy. The only other poseibility would be for nature to deal a wildcard in the form of a bonafide plague that kills of 80+% of the population, leaving only the strongest, most isolated and well prepared types to carry on the species, which gets us somewhere closer to the much discussed Deagle population estimates. And I have no illusions that I’m likely to survive either scenario, despite preps and training to deal with hard times.

I have to figure at some point a real, no shit mass die off will occur as nature seems to “rebalance the scales”. Could be a plague, if maybe a massive combined volcanic/seismic event, or even a asteroid impact.
Systemic imbalances cannot exist indefinitely, and their inherent “corrective measures” operate on a much longer time frame than a typical human lifespan, so we are always left with the false perception that it can’t (or won’t) happen in the here and now. Besides, humans are *just* smart and arrogant enough to end up doing something that leads to our demise.
Right now, we are still carelessly posturing for a nuclear exchange involving israel, and probably China, Russia, plus who knows where else. The fact we’ve been lucky enough to avoid one (since WWII, when the US was the only country that possessed the capability) is no assurance we can forestall it indefinitely. I don’t disagree in the least. As has become a somewhat popular expression of late, “the purpose of a system is what it does”. We, both individually and collectively as dissidents, are swimming upstream on this. I’ve come to accept that collapse will be the only opportunity for improvement. Well, per4; During his court hearing, Ngom was given a $500,000 cash surety bond and was ordered to not drive. State prosecutors said they anticipate more charges to be filed. Ngom has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 21 at 3 p.m. If convicted, Ngom could face between 12-60 months in prison. I am sure that makes the family of the dead victims plus the other 6 people involved feel much better. I watched the accident;, fire, mangled cars and people. And now…….the taxpayers get to foot his feeding bill for 1-5 years.
