I was in a conversation with someone on Faceberg and something they shared caught my eye. It was a high school basketball playoff match-up in Pennsylvania. One team is the team is Carver High School of Engineering & Science out of Philadelphia. The other?
The Barack Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles.
I had to look it up and there are a distressing number of inner-city schools named after “Barack” but this is a real school in Pittsburgh. It is also called “Pittsburgh Obama 6–12”, a far less unwieldy name. The school was formed by combining Schenley High School, named after a White woman named Mary Schenley, and Frick Middle School, named after a White man named Henry Clay Frick. Now it is one school named after a homosexual mulatto. Progress!
I figured a school named after Barry would be a trainwreck. The demographics are what you would expect…
Pittsburgh as a whole is one of the rare American cities that is still majority White and “only” 22% black…

At first I was a little puzzled because overall their rating wasn’t horrible but then I dug down a bit….

Or it may suggest that some student groups, like blacks for example, just are not intelligent enough as a whole to succeed even on the very minimal state proficiency tests. 94% of black “students” graduate despite only 3% proficiency in math, 25% proficiency in English and 24% proficiency in biology.
I assume the 17% of Whites that are there are sent by liberal parents who think it is just swell that their kid goes to a majority black school named after The Great Uniter Barack Hussein Obama.

Do you think, given all that we know about blacks in America and the trend of their behavior, that from 2019 (the year before the martyring of Saint George Floyd of the Fentanyl, pbuh) to 2025 black high school girl behavior in Pittsburgh public school improved dramatically? Does that jive with anything you have seen?
It seems more likely that when black girls chimp out at the Obama Pittsburgh 6-12 school they get the equivalent of a time out instead of being referred to juvenile court where they belong. I would suspect, being a racist and Noticer Of Naughty News, that coddling these girls doesn’t make them “learn from mistakes without being criminalized”, and instead it teaches them that their actions don’t have consequences. I am sure that will serve them well in the real world and it won’t blow up in the faces of the rest of us.
There is nothing really critical in this information, it just amused me. It isn’t really funny that we have thousands of “schools” in America warehousing certifiably retarded and violent future felons but you have to laugh to keep from going insane.

Seems to me naming a school after Barry O’Bummer is like naming a ship after the captain of the Titanic.
My favorite is a high school located in St. Louis, Missouri named for former (and now long deceased) governor Mel Carnahan (or “Minstrel Mel” as some would say, on account of historical photos of him in blackface having turned up at one point). It is actually officially named “The Mel Carnahan High School of the Future”, no joke. It is also in one of the roughest parts of town, and I’d bet nearly 100% black, demographically.
