There are all sorts of places that are bad situations for the commission of a murder but there are some that are really bad. Like this one:
Cops stopped to question masked men wearing latex gloves, only to see them murder a beloved West Side businessman: prosecutors
The officers were traveling in two unmarked cars in the 2100 block of West Madison Street on Tuesday afternoon when they saw Nassie Mason, 28, and Erving Harris, 31, step out of a parked Honda wearing masks and latex gloves, and holding guns, Assistant State’s Attorney Mike Pekara said.
As the officers were getting out of their vehicles to confront the men, they saw Mason and Harris murder (Jerry) Lewis as he began to enter one of his businesses, according to Pekara. After the shooting, Mason and Harris turned to run away and found themselves face-to-face with six armed cops ordering them to drop their weapons.
Mason allegedly tried to re-rack his firearm but was unsuccessful. He dropped the gun and ran, but was taken into custody just feet from where he had been standing. Harris took a few steps toward the Honda before dropping his gun, raising his hands, and surrendering.
They were sitting in a stolen car with stolen plates. The man they “allegedly” murdered, 67 year old Jerry Lewis, was a contractor.
The two were waiting for him around 90 minutes so they clearly intended to assassinate him. The question I have is why, it wasn’t robbery so there wasn’t something else going on. I don’t know this guy but it seems unlikely they killed him for no reason.

Dead eyes devoid of any spark of intelligence or humanity? Check. Face tattoos? Check.
The guy on the right, Nassie Mason, was trying to “re-rack his firearm”, presumably because it was jammed, after being ordered to drop his weapon and the cops didn’t light him up? Could have saved the Illinois taxpayers millions to house him for the next half century. What was his plan, clear the jam and start shooting at the 6 cops pointing guns at him? Just kidding, he didn’t have a plan.
Both Mason and Harris have extensive criminal backgrounds, Harris was on parole for carjacking when he murdered Jerry Lewis. It is completely unexpected that a man on parole for a violent crime would continue to commit violent crimes.
Other reports indicate that they were arrested within 8 seconds of killing Lewis and both men live with their respective grandmothers. Mason’s attorney amusingly did the meme and asked for him to be released on electronic monitoring because he is taking classes at Malcolm X community college. Not so funny, he already spawned three little niglets who will follow in daddy’s footsteps and perhaps will one day be housed in the same prison block.

So glad I left that area long ago. There were areas that were bad then. In fact there was a McDonalds near “da projex” that is their first franchise to fail. Stands to reason as it was robbed every day.
There are just no words for the abject stupidity of the two shooters and their entire situation.
Let’s see, both subjects around 30 years of age, both of them ugly and overweight, and both of them living with their grandmothers. It does not get any more pathetic than that. And I’m going to go out on a limb here, and speculate that neither of them was gainfully or legitimately employed in any way.
And then their ‘plan’, if you can call it that, was to simply shoot the guy right out in the open. As if there are not cameras and possibly potential witnesses just about everywhere. Let alone considering the risk of “What if the PoPo happen to roll by right when we’re doing it”. They not only didn’t think it through, it would seem that they did not even think about it at all.
And then the one shooter trying to re-rack the slide on his gun. WTF ?? What kind of semi automatic hand gun doesn’t re-rack itself every time the trigger is pulled ? Probably one that has never been cleaned and lubed, and very likely is a POS gun to begin with.
These two nig nogs get the prise for sheer stupidity and general mental defectiveness. They will both find their fat asses being used regularly in prison by other 2G’s or Mexicans who are at least marginally smarter than them.
We rolled in the Blues Brothers mobile with gas masks in HS and the cops just laughed and said get this hunk of shit off the road.
If I see people jump out with masks and gloves, I start shooting.
Some things never change. The 6 months I spent in Chicago were the longest ten years of my life.
