TLCPL makes history: All Board of Trustees leadership positions held by African American officers
TLCPL stands for “Toledo Lucas County Public Library”. It is the library system that serves both the city of Toledo itself and the rest of Lucas County. My local library in Waterville, Ohio where I checked out many a book as a yute is part of the system.

For the first time in the history of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library (TLCPL), all Board of Trustees leadership positions have been filled by African American officers, according to a release. The library announced that three new officers were appointed during its monthly board meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22.
Keith B. Jordan Sr. was appointed board president, while Michael Alexander Sr. was appointed board vice president and Kendra N. Smith was appointed secretary.
“This marks the first time all three board leadership positions are held by African American leaders in our community,” said Toledo Library Executive Director Jason Kucsma. “I look forward to their guidance as we continue to engage the community, inspire lifelong learning and provide universal access to information, ideas and entertainment.”
Well that certainly is a whole new standard of stunning and brave.
Lucas County, Ohio is around 66% White and less than 20% black. Even the city of Toledo proper is still majority White (55%) and around 28% black. The Toledo Public Library was founded in 1838 and was the first tax-payer funded library in Ohio. By my math that means for around 188 years the library has been primarily operated by, paid for and serviced White Toledoans and residents of Lucas County.
In 2026? Elect an all black leadership team for “representation” or some other bullshit.
The public library system is one of the nearly infinite examples of foundations built exclusively by White people, paid for by us, supported by us, and now used by others who apparently think they built it. I am sure blacks use public libraries for more than the internet and a public restroom but picking an all black leadership team for the trustees and then patting themselves on the back for it publicly is the grossest form of pandering.
No, they just use the library to wash, shave, and fornicate in the restrooms. That’s all they use it for here. Besides the free internet/access to p*rn.

Once again, words fail me, just like the recent appointment of the pudgy, wifed-up, lesbian as the new chief of police in Indianapolis. (I suppose theoretically it could have been worse: They could have picked a pudgy, wifed-up BLACK lesbian.). I have no doubt they would have, had there been one available,
This sort of thing is happening at all levels of government all over the country. White men are being systematically and purposely replaced, particularly in leadership positions, by unqualified women, lesbians, blacks, and various non-White foreigners.
It is also happening throughout corporate America and the military. Trump is probably just a speed bump before it resumes full speed in the armed forces.
Are the glasses, bowtie and white girl hair supposed to make these apes appear literate? It’s not working.
All over the country librarians and library-affiliated types are falling all over themselves to out-liberal teachers and college professors.
This is one place white liberals can put blacks so they do minimal damage. The white liberal power structure gets tons of accolades with little opportunity for their pets to embezzle funds or cause other trouble.
Maybe their kids will learn to read now. We tore down all the statues of whitey and they still didn’t learn to read. Maybe this will be the charm.
The next time a NON wines about wanting public representation for THEIR kind, then remind them about the demographics for the Toledo Lucas County Public Library. Three, powerful 2Gs don’t represent the 66% White population.
That’s how you know that the bagel-eaters sanctioned it. (Soon, de Wine(berg) will demand that only kosher food is eaten in the library and every other public building.)
Apparently, our three stunning and brave Trustees are volunteers, receiving no compensation for their leadership and fine fine splendid exampling to eager learners?

Fortunately, the new Board will guide the library through significant financial challenges, including a $2.8 million deficit for 2026, staff layoffs, and branch closures.

Apparently, they were DIE-appointed by the Director.
Apparently, a past director, Clyde Scoles, had a salary of approximately $213,000 way back in 2016?
After a decade of 6% CoLA increases, might we presume that position pays more in 2026, probably someplace in the neighborhood of $13,000 each year in increases?
Let’s call the Director’s salary an even $325,000?

For the above post, I did the math in my head.
My telephone tells me a decade of 6% CoLA increases totals a $340,000 annual salary for the Director and appointer of the Board.
