Winning “Teacher of the Year” apparently is a low bar.
A woman who won a “Teacher of the Year” award in South Carolina is facing charges after allegedly attempting to run over her baby’s father in a Walmart parking lot.
Sade Delesia Nacheyle Nelson, the 2025 “Teacher of the Year” at St. John’s High School in Charleston, South Carolina, is accused of assaulting the father of her child and his girlfriend during a custody exchange on Oct, 18, Summerville police said, according to Live5News.
Nelson, 37, allegedly punched the man and his girlfriend before attempting to hit him with her car.
She seems nice and very stable and not at all crazy. I would say she wasn’t recognized as teacher of the year for her good looks….
Her school, St. Johns High School in Johns Island, South Carolina, looks like the sort of place that an unhinged lunatic like “Sade Delesia Nacheyle Nelson” would work. It rates a 2 out of 10 from Great Schools. I wonder why….
Ah, that is why. It only has an enrollment of a little over 400 but when almost half of the students are black, you really can’t expect much. Also how many schools in America have a student body that is 100% “low income” because that seems to come up again and again. I wonder if there is some sort of correlation between racial demographics and poverty in schools? Let’s check my high school alma mater, Anthony Wayne High, and see…
AW outperforms the state average by wide margins in all of the state testing scores. Again must be a coincidence. Despite being almost entirely White, it is also a powerhouse in athletics, especially with the girl’s sports. If I may brag on my high school a bit, the girl’s soccer team won the Ohio State Division II Championship last Friday….
…and then this afternoon the girl’s volleyball played for the state championship for the second year in a row and unfortunately fell short both years but still had an amazing run.
Notice the lack of “diversity” on both AW teams. Tough loss for the girls but they had a couple of amazing seasons and several of them are playing Division I volleyball at the college level next year but even before that some of them will be playing basketball soon and the girl’s team in BB also made the state finals last year before losing to an all black team, the Winton Woods Warriors.
We really live in two very different worlds. In one world high schools are full of borderline retarded students who are being “taught” by people like Sade Delesia Nacheyle Nelson who try to run down their baby daddy because he has a new girlfriend. In the other world we have almost all White high schools that have students that achieve the highest levels in academics and athletics alike.
The problem is that the former are quickly swamping the latter. For every Anthony Wayne High School in places like Whitehouse, Ohio there are too many schools like St. John’s High School in Johns Island, South Carolina.

There was not an issue of LIFE Magazine which went to press without some slobbering, idolatrous story about that group of corrupt American royalty. The buzzword back then was: “Managed News”. My old high school is 96% White, 45% low income, and filled with almost 500 students that realize the area died 70 years ago when the copper mines closed and is as polluted as any other Superfund site with multiple brain tumors in the student body diagnosed every year.
It would give Appalachia a run for the money, if only it snowed a couple hundred inches more in Appalachia and the sun went away for 5 months and the growing season was 100 days or less.
Other than that it has a good hockey program.
I wish that we had a public high school where I live with that lack of diversity.
And those girls from St. Johns will have five babies from five fathers and we’ll pay for it.
